Lush- Christingle Body Conditioner Review

Christingle is one of the items which I actually featured in my July favourites which is surprising as this body conditioner is actually part of the Christmas collection this is why I have waited so long to do the review because you should be able to get your hands on this product now.

I really love using this should I have really bad sunburn in the summer months but also I love to use it on very aching muscles which I may have from all of the exercise which I do I walk at least 5 miles most days which means that sometimes I get very tired muscles and this works wonders for that.

If you do not know how a body conditioner works you just lather it all over your body before getting out of the shower, I do this away from the flow of the water to prevent water getting in the pot and also massage it into my skin before been washed away. Then you get back into the shower and rinse the lotion off. I have used it as a body conditioner as well in the past this is if you want a more intense use.

This body conditioner does actually moisturise your skin which is something which we all need in the winter months you do not need to use of the body conditioner due to the jojoba oil and murumuru butter which can be found in this product.  Peppermint and methanol crystals as the main ingredients this does actually mean that your skin is left supple and pump as well which I have found is great as my skin was super tight after been burnt in the summer and also I want to be pump skin because I feel like it always looks better.

It’s unlike anything that I’ve tried from Lush before – a strong, crisp and very refreshing spearmint and peppermint aroma with a note of menthol that gives it a slightly clinical element as well this may not be a scent for everyone so I would recommend that you do smell this body conditioner before you purchase this item.

I am loving using this product again due to the fact that it helps my skin repair myself which is something I need with the harsh winter months. This produce leaves your skin moisitured but beware it does have a greasy feeling for a while after leaving the shower it may be for around 5-10 mintutes and you would not want to put clothes on during this time.

I will be purchasing more of this beauty before the this goes again for another year. It sure is one of Lush’s hidden gems.

Have you tried a body conditioner before if so what did you think?

Lush Oxford Street Haul

Way back on the 26th August I managed to visit the holy grail shop for any lush fan’s which is Lush Oxford street a 3-floor store which sells just pure Lush. Which as I am sure you know because you’re on my blog is a kind of heaven to me. The store opened way back in April 2015 and it has taken me this long to visit. I was down in London for the challenge cup and found myself in a bar about 15 minutes walk away from the store so I had to pop quickly and due to the fact that I had to carry it so I only picked up the ones which were exclusive to the store.

Cherry Blossom reusable bubble bar is one of those items which I managed to pick up Cherries are one of my favourite scents however, it is not something which Lush do a lot of for some reason I don’t actually know why. This is not a scent which reminds me of cherries too much it reminds me more of cherry bakewells and the cherry boiled sweets. This for sure is going to be one which I would love to come to normal stores because for sure this is one which I would be repurchasing I have not actually tried it out yet but it is one which I will be using in the near future.
Big Calm Jelly bath bomb is one of the first jelly bath bombs which Lush have done one is meant to help you sleep which at the moment is something which I am not having a problem with because I am so tired all of the time. The reason it is designed to send you to sleep is due to the tonka and chamomile I think this is one I purchase for when I have a lot of deadlines and need myself to be sent to sleep. I know these are not exclusive just to Oxford street there is around 10 stores nationwide which have them in. Unfortunately for me, my local one which has them is Leeds so if I do end up loving it I am going to have to purchase online. I think this is my favourite of the jelly ones which I picked up.
Dark arts Jelly bath bomb which has now changed its name to I think secret arts is this lovely black bath bomb I am surprised it took lush this long to do something which turned you bath black because we all know Lush like to be a little bit different when it comes to their products. This bath bomb is cinnamon, orange and almond which gives it a very spicy cinnamon with a hint of orange scent. This is one which I have not used yet because I thought I would save it for the winter when the weather turns as this is one which I think would suit that time of year more than when I purchased it. I am unsure how much I am going to love this because it could be like bathing in a bath of tar but this is sure going to be an experience. I may do a post about my experience when I have used this and do a review on the product.
One Eskimo is a bubble bar which I picked up out of session but there was no way I could leave it as it shares it’s scent with Christingle which is a very menthol/ mint body lotion. This is a bubble bar which is going to be part of the Christmas line if I am not mistaken. This has a hint of grapefruit, spearmint and peppermint. I feel like this is going to be one which is great should my muscles be sure because mint really seems to help me or if you have bad sunburn this may be a product which you want to try. This for sure is going to be one which I am going to be stocking up on in the coming months. As I think if this is part of the Christmas range it will be coming to all stores.
Fidget spinners are something which was a huge trend this summer and of course Lush had to jump on the bandwagon and make their own fidget spinner bubble bar. This is one which I had to pick up because of the fact that I love anything novel and this is of course citrus so there was no way that I was not going to be picking this one up. I can not actually say what oils are in this because I can not find it online so I am sorry for this. This is a product which produces a ton of bubbles so is one which Jess adores as well. I do seem to think that you purchase this in all stores now throughout the UK.

Green coconut is another jelly bath bomb which does not sound a combination which most people would think of this bath bomb does not smell overly of the usual coconut smell which we have got used to with Lush instead it is almost a curry smell which I get when I have a whiff of this product. I know that this is something which could put a lot of people off because they may not almost like the thai green curry scent that this product is. However, to me, it not a spicy as a curry would be and have as many in it. This is going to be one which is going to be very interesting as I do not know how I feel about sharing my bath with green slime it may be an experience which I am not going to love. I think I will have to report my findings on this very soon.
Green windmill is another one which I picked up purely because of the design I am a sucker for anything I guess you could say gimmicky. The scent on this is a really nice as well which is always a bonus it is a very fizzy kind of citrus smell with almost a hint of ginger I know it sounds like the stranges combination of product well scent ever but I promise you that it is one of the nicest that I have smelt from Lush and so different to anything which I have ever tried before. I am gutted I dropped mine which means some bits have come off but I am sure it is still going to make pretty bubbles in the bath.
Guardians of the forest bath bomb is another one which I knew before I headed into the store is one which I needed because of the fact that it is the closest which we have to Lord of misrule all year long which is one of my favourite scents of the year. It is a very earthy scent which has a lot of Cyrpuss oil, rosewood and moss oil which means that it really smells of the forest as the name suggests. There is nothing better than the this when it is in the spring which is one of my favourite times to visit the forest.  This for sure is one which I would be purchasing more if I lived closer to oxford street I might have to purchase this one online because I know it is going to be a firm favourite.
This is a product which I purchased because of the fact that one of the lovely members of staff used this product and demonstrated it on my arm. I have to say that my arm has never felt so smooth using this showder. This is a product which smells like lemon cheesecake which of course is something which just makes me want a product as well as the fact that it is a product which allows delicate but effective scrubbing. So it removes the dead skin cells before making the skin soft due to the fact that it has cornflour in the ingredients. It is a product which I am going to have to store in a black pot due to the fact that it comes in a cardboard box which is not going to be great for storing in the shower. This for sure is going to be awake me up product which I am looking forward to using in the colder darker mornings.
Marmalade is the final jelly bath bomb which I picked up I thought that it was going to be a scent which is similar the famous condiment so I thought it was going to be a very juicy orange kind of smell. However, this is not the case at all to me it is a hell of a lot of powdery scents which is not something which I am a huge fan of. This for sure is not my favourite and I do not think it is one which I am going to be using for a long time because I have more which I love in my collection. I might even let Jess try instead and take photos that way because I am sure she would love jelly in her bath. I actually almost regret purchasing this one.
The final item which I purchased was this plum rain body spray which of course is the same scent as the shower gel. This is one which I love because if you have ready my review of the shower gel you will knoe how I like the fact that this is a different scent to others which I have in my collection it is a fruity and fresh scent. This is going to be perfect for spraying on when I am going to university in a morning, The scent on this lasts for a fair amount of hours I know this is going to be one which I am going to get a hell of a lot of use out of.
What exclusives have you tried from Oxford Street?

Lush- American Cream Conditioner Review

This conditioner is the only one I have been purchasing for over a years now I just keep repurchasing it you could say that it is a product which I could not live without. It does amazing things for my hair along with being one of my favouite scents which Lush do which is always a bonus.  It smells like a creamy vanilla milkshake maybe with a hint of strawberries this is one which does smell that nice you might actually want to drink it but this is something which I would not recommend doing.

When I used this conditioner I have found that I do not have to apply as much which means that it lasts longer than your regular conditioner which makes up for the price difference because I seem to remember but I seem to think that this conditioner for a 250g bottle is around the £10 mark. It actually lasts me around 3-4 months which is a hell of a lot longer than the an normal bottle of conditioner. I should inform you though that I only wash my hair currently once a week which means yours may not last as long as mine.

The consistency of this conditioner is not too thick meaning you are unable to wash it out however, this is not to thin which means that you do not have to use a lot of this product. It leaves your hair super soft and does not actually weigh the hair down.

Even though you do not need more than one squeeze of the bottle it leaves your hair mositurised and really nourishes which is good for me because I have dry ends which need as much moisture as they can get. I also have hair which can become very frizzy which this conditioner does manage to sure out and I can smell the this for a few days after I have washed my hair. Even when you have got rained on and have used this product you can smell it which is amazing as it cheers up a dull day.

Have you tried this conditioner if so what did you think of it?

Lush- Ultrabland Facial Cleanser Review

Ultrabland is one of the skin care items which people would not reach for that often it is one which people for some reason seem to love look however, this is an item which I picked up after having a skin care consultation in store a while back. I could not have been happier when I tried this product I am so glad that I got recommended this product.

Ultrabland is a a really thick cleanser which is almost like applying butter to your face it is that thick I know what you are think this is not something which you are selling to me. However, Ultrabland  is made up of rosewater, beewax, and honey which means that this is one of the products that Lush do which is not actually vegan. I used this cleanser on a night because it helps remove stubborn make up which is great because I can find it hard to remove some of my mascaras I love how it leaves my skin as well. It leaves it with a lot of moisuter which is great as I have found in the past some can be very stripping it also makes my skin feel very smooth and plump overall it does feel like my skin is super healthy when I use this product.

The reason my skin feels all the benefits is due to the main ingredients being almond oil, beewax and rose water which together help hydrate the skin, act as an antiseptic and exfoliate as well as calm any areas which may be irritated. This is one which I love using in the colder months because my skin becomes very dry and needs as much moister as possible I also love that it is so soothing because if for some reason my skin does become chapped I can still use it without there been a huge amount of pain which is always a benefit for me.

I have noticed that it does help with redness as this sis something which some of the time I do suffer with this helps to soothe the skin. It also helps brighten the completion which is something I need because I am working so much at the moment I need skincare to help make me looking like I am healthy and not just living on caffeine.

I only apply a small dollop of this product to try skin them massage it in which causes the product to melt and turn into a clear oil which breaks down the make up and anything else which can be found on my skin. When my make up has been broken down I get something like a warm flannel and wipe off the product. I have been known to use this as a mask as well which I leave on for around 10 minutes which doing something such as finishing getting ready for bed and I have found that when I do this I do not actually need a moistener this keeps it hydrated enough. This is a bonus if you are going on a weekend away as you could in theory just take one product your cleanser and not have to take a moistersier as well.

Lush recommend you use a cotton pad to remove the cleanser however, I have found that I am still left with really greasy face which is something non of us like. This is why I use something like a flannel because I find that it is so much easier and does not leave you with the greasy horrible layer.

I would recommend this product to anyone and I will be repurchasing again when I have use a few more of the cleaners I have in my stash up first. This is one which has helped with imbalances and I would say maybe has resulted in me having a few less breakouts which is always a bonus.

Have you tried ultrabland if so what did you think?

Lush Halloween 2017 Haul

How has the time come around already for Lush to have released the Halloween collection this year it was late coming into stories it only launched last week, however, you have been able to get your hands on a lot of the products should you have ordered online. I have only picked up a few of the items this year as I picked some of them up previously when I visited Oxford street in August I promise I will share that haul with you in a couple of weeks time. I will apologise for the state of some of the bath bombs they fell off my pram on the way home and smashed which was not great. I know you can see ghost fairy in the main picture, however, I have since lost this product so I can tell you what it is like as I can not remember from when I purchased in store.

The first item which I knew I had to have was the monster’s ball bath bomb because it shares it’s scent with my favourite or one of my favouorite scents which is calacas. This makes such beautiful coloured water which is amazing for someone like me because it is purple and this is one of y favouote colours combined with the citrus smell which calacas has. This is one wish could be around all year long because of the fact I adore it that much. The reason this smells so amazing is due to it having the main ingredient of lime oil which always makes my mood increase and makes me feel uplifted it also has a ton of cocoa butter in which makes your skin feel soft which is something I am always needing at this time of year. For sure this is going to be one which I am going to be picking up more of before the end of the season.

Pumpkin bath bomb is not one which I picked up last year I do not think because of the fact that I was not a huge fan, however, this year I decided that I was going to give it a try. This is not one which I think smells of pumpkins not that I know what one smells like instead, I think it feels very much  vanilla and spicy scent which makes sense when I look at the main ingredient of this bath bomb which is citrus which I can not smell however, it does have vanilla so this might be a reason. This for sure I can imagine is going to make a very bright orange colour in the water and I have a feeling should I not like this Jess is going to love it and get used of the water. This is not one which I think I am going to purchase a lot of before it disappears.

Sparkly pumpkin bubble bar is one which has visited us for a fair number of years now, however, because of the fact that I am not a huge fan of the glitter it is the first time that I have ever purchased this. On dry sniff of this product it smells like it a cinnamon/ spicy product mixed with one which is a little bit fruity which is amazing as for me because I really love the spicy products which usually come out later in the year as part of the Christmas range and as you know I adore my fruity scents. I am sure this is going to be one which I am going to wonder why I have not picked up in the past I might have to try this before this product goes. I think the water is not going to be the prettiest but for sure it is one which I am going to enjoy trying.

Pink pumpkin is new this year and when I saw it online for some reason I thought it was going to share the scent with snow fairy, however, this is something which I was incorrect with instead it shares it scent more with rose jam however, it is not as strong as rose jam because of the fact it has jasmine in it which stops been too overpowering. This is something I can find occurs with rose jam often. I think this product is going to be one which is very relaxing and going to help me de-stress which is something I need to do a lot at the moment with the stress of third-year university.

Lord of misrule shower creme is one of my favourite shower gels this is going to have to be repurchased a couple of times so I have enough of this to last me all year. It is a very strange scent to explain so I will recommend if you can pop into a lush store to have a sniff of this product I would. It is black pepper and patchouli with a hint of vanilla which gives it such a strange but beautiful scent. This is a thick shower creme which keeps your skin so soft and it does last for a long time which is something I love as this is one of my favourite scents and I look forward to every Halloween when this product comes out.

This beautiful cat is called bewitched bubble bar this I am sure is going to bring one of the most amazing black water and everyone has to love black baths. On dry sniff this smells like blackberry which is a bath bomb which they have got rid of this year mixed with the comforter which is my favourite bubble bar. This is not a floral scent or too much of citrus this is a sweet scent which is a change in this collection this year. This for sure is going to be one which I need to check in the water and see if I like it before possibly purchasing some more of it.

The final item which I picked up from the range was a lip tint in black rose. I will admit I don’t know if I ever have tried a lip tint from lush however, I had seen swatches of this and new I had to try it this it comes black in the tube and into a berry kind of pink which is one of my favourite colours to wear at this time of year. I will say it is pretty sheer which means that it is one which I could get away with wearing when I hardly have a lot of make up on and it would not look out of place which is always good. For sure I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of this little beauty.

Have you picked up anything from this range yet of so what did you get? If not what do you have your eye on?

Lush- Mask Of Magnaminty Review

Mask Of Magnaminty is a facemask which I am constantly repurchasing and have been since I first tried it over two years ago now. I have hormonal breakouts like any other girl more so around the time of the month and this is when I seem to be reaching for this product more and more. Before I had tried this product I had actually managed to read the reviews now any of you who have done this will know it has really high reviews.

This is not one of Lush’s fresh facemask however, it is self-preserving which means that it does last a bit longer meaning that you do not have to use it as quickly as a fresh one and this also does not have to be stored in the fridge. Which if you are anything like me is a good thing because I put them in the fridge and can actually forget to use them because I rarely go to the fridge before a shower.

The main ingredient of this facemask is peppermint oil this is what makes it get for people who have acne or spot prone skin as it is actually a natural antiseptic which helps promote healing of scars and blemishes which can occur when skin there is breakouts. I have noticed when I have been used this the scars which I have from previous spots do seem to fade which is a bonus when you are very self conscious about scarring.

This mask also can help tighten pore which is something which is not always a problem for me but this is always a bonus because having huge pores is not something which we all want. As well as this another benefit which helps soothe and protects the skin from break out as you may remember I said I use this more when I am breaking out. The ingredient which helps this is the bentonite gel and African marigold oil.

I use this mask maybe only once a week on my whole face and then when I need it in specific areas I will use it more for example when I break out I will apply this maybe every day however, I have been known to use this overnight and it has the same benefits as washing it off after 30 minutes.

You’ll find when you scoop some out of the little pot that it’s a really thick mask full of little scrubby bits because the mask is so thick and lumpy, you have to apply it to the skin in quite a thick layer to get even coverage. Be careful not to apply it too thickly however, so that it doesn’t dry onto the skin. This is just a waste of product and makes it harder to remove. Do be warned, the application can be super messy I have been known to get it in my hair at stages which can be super annoying.

Once the mask is on your skin you get that immediate tingly, cold feeling all over your face that comes with peppermint oil this is a feeling which I have to admit I really like. This mask contains Kaolin clay, which whilst setting on your skin, pulls impurities like oil out from your pores, but without drying your skin out even though I do feel like I have to moisturise after but that is just me.

When you wash the facemask off it is actually exfolicating as you rinse it off which is great because I love looking at how much dead skin cells I have removed as well as the extra oil which does not need to be in my face.

I love this facemask and it is one which I will repurchase time and time again I think I have already been through a couple of the larger pots of this facemask which shows that I really do love the product. I would recommend this product to others who may have blemish/spot prone skin.

Have you tried mask of magnaminty if so what did you think?

Lush New Releases Haul

Recently I visited Lush which is not a rare occurrence for because I usually visit the store at least once a week, however, I have not been in that much since Joe left because I have had to purchase everything for Jess and I did not want to bankrupt myself as well as try and use some of the stash I have at the moment because the Halloween/ Christmas range are launched.

They have just discontinued some of my favourites in their annual summer cult which annoyed me a lot because it means that I had to stock up and while I was in stores I noticed that they had some new products out which as a Lushie I knew I had to purchase. A couple of the items which I purchased have been available in Oxford Street for a number of weeks now but as you know I live in the North around 2 1/2 hours by train away from London.

The first bath bomb which I picked up is cheer up buttercup which is the small yellow circle bath bomb at the top of the picture. This bath bomb is like sunshine which is going to be great because it brings a touch of summer and sunshine which we are all going to need soon because we are fastly approaching the autumn months. This bath bomb for sure smells like Lemon it just smells like pure Lemon and almost like lemon sherbet if you have ever used the refresher shower jelly it is almost like that.

Yellow Submarine is one which I am sure which you have to sing the Beatles actual song when you hear of this bath bomb and its name. This is one of my favourite bath bombs of the whole regular line collection at the moment I think because of the fact that it smells of orange and lemongrass it does have coconut in it as well which means this bath bomb does smell tropical I guess it makes me think of actual summer and holidays for some reason I think of cocktails on the beach when I smell this scent.

Rocket Science is one of the cheapest bath bomb which is priced only at £2.95 however, do not make the price make you think that it is going to be a poor bath bomb at all. I think it is going to be one which you will want to pick up as well. It has bergamot oil and lemon oil which is a couple of scents which you know I like if you have read my blog before. I would say this is one which does make a pretty show in the bath so it could be one to use with the children and it is very cheap as well compared to some of the other products lush do.

As you know if you have seen that Lush has made Jelly Facemasks and of course I could not go in and not pick them up because of the fact that they are different and I love things which are a little bit strange but sometimes these are the best kind of products. I picked up 1000 millhelens this is a very apple scented mask which has witch hazel to soothe and relieve irritated skin, green tea to detox and purify the pores, and kaolin clay to remove unwanted grease and dirt. This is something which I need because at the moment my skin is terrible and it is breaking out to the high heavens if I could hide at the moment I would.

The other jelly mask which I purchased was the was just to clarify is designed to brighten you skin and it also super rejuvenated and clean the skin which of course is something which I need while my skin is like this horrible and broken out The reason why you get these amazing results is due to the fact that there is enzymic papaya which is great for brightening, bamboo stems which exfoliate, grapefruit and bergamot which helps lift the mood as well as the fresh orange juice which is meant to help perk you up. The jelly facemasks are actually only £6.95 and I can imagine that they are going to last a while if I am honest I think I will get more use out of them that they fresh ones.

A final couple of items were body spray which who does not want to smell like Lush all of the time if they can. I picked up twilight which of course helps me sleep but it also makes me relaxed which is really good because I can struggle to calm down and because I know I am going to get more stressed with uni this year I think this is one which I had to pick up because the scent does last all day and who doesn’t love that the reason it keeps you relaxed is because it has lavender and tonka in as the main ingredient. This for sure is going to be one which I wear when I am at uni as well as when I just want to chill out this whole body spray only cost £20 which make sound expensive but the scent does last all day long and I think the bottle is going to last a fair while.

The other body spray which I picked up was Dirty which I know what you are thinking that sounds strange why would you want a body spray which is called dirty well I will tell you it is actually a mint scented product which is something that I adore because I do like nice fresh scents, however, the reason why I purchased this one was due to the fact that the Joe was using this shower gel just before he left and then this me and then this means when I am missing him it can spray this it does mean that I think that he is there and it means that I do not have to steal his hoodie because I am that annoying girlfriend who loves stealing the hoodies.

Have you tried any of the new releases in Lush?

Lush Curly Wurly Coconut Shampoo

Curly Wurly Coconut Shampoo aims to keep curly hair moisturised and define the curls I know I do not have the world’s curliest hair I have wavy hair instead but I decided a while back that I was going to try it because my hair needs as much moisture as it can get. Some of may know that I have pretty thick hair even though I seem to be losing a lot of it after having Jess at the moment I always seem to have it up in a bun as well because it is so easy and that can cause breakage which is not great at all.

I will admit that this shampoo did help the condition of my hair and I did notice that the wavy were more defined when I had been using it however, it is not my favourite shampoo for a couple of reasons which is the reason I don’t actually know if I would repurchase again in the future.

I will warn you that one of the reasons I don’t know if I like it is because the shampoo has an odd texture – very thick, almost looking solid, with flakes of coconut. Due to this you really have to lather the shampoo up so I found it’s best to put water into my hands alongside the shampoo and apply it to soaking wet hair. This then does foam up and work as a normal shampoo would. I know some people may be worried about getting water in the black tub. I didn’t find it to be too much of a problem but towards the end, I did notice that it was becoming a little bit watery which way bother some people but because I had had it open a couple maybe every

The only downside I found of this was that the flakes of coconut get stuck in your hair as you wash it, but don’t let this put you off as they’re easy enough to comb out whilst your hair is still wet, and the condition of your hair afterwards is worth it. You just need to make sure you get them all out or you might like me think you have super bad dandruff every time you wash your hair with this product.

I would recommend this to anyone who has curly hair and it is a product that I may go back to in the future but at the moment I am loving a solid shampoo.

Cleeve Candles Haul

Lush and candles if you have read my blog in the past you will know is two things which I adore so over a year ago when I found a little company who did lush scents in wax tart form I was all over it. I knew that I would be purchasing more and more from them that company is Cleeve Candles. They are a store which can be found on etsy and at the moment are only selling one day a month on what they call restock day to find out when the next one is you will have to visit their site, however, I can tell you it will be towards the end of September now.

These are items which I managed to pick up in the restock night back in June I meant to share these with you before however, have just not got round to it which seems to be the story of my blog at the moment and for that I apologise. The first item which I picked up was this huge pie which is a blend of 3 of lushies ultimate fragrance which if I remember correctly is 29 high street, calacas and snow twilight which if you know me is a few of my favourite scents from the company. I am going to be ableto break this huge pie into a lot of different pieces which means that I am going to get a lot of burning time into my wax burner. I think a huge pie like this is around the £11 mark I may be a little bit wrong.

In the summer months is there anything better than the smell of suncream been applied well I do not think so this was one of the reasons behind me purchasing this wax. I think it is one which I am going to adore burning when the weather is been typically British and not that warm even though it is summer. On dry sniff it smells a little bit different to what I thought it was going to but hopefully when I actually end up burning a chunk of this I will like it if not I will end up selling it on so that someone else can get the joy out of this wax.

One of my favourite scents from Lush is Calcas which is a scent which was out a few halloween’s ago now it is the scent of monster ball for anyone who may have tried that last year. I adore this scent and could not think of anything better than my whole house smelling of the scent the only way I can kind of describe this is sour gummy worms if you are fan of these sweets then maybe this one if for you. I have a few tubs of this because I love the scent so much and they are not available every single destash night. I can not wait for the weather to change a little bit so I can start burning wax more and more.

Lime cooler is one which I thought I would pick up as well due to the fact that you do not see much wax which is a lime scented at all. I love lime for some reason the name of this makes me think of Costa maybe because a lot of their cool drinks are called coolers. You can sure tell when you get this that there is a hell of a lot of lime in it almost makes me want to eat it even though I know that would be a stupid idea and no doubt very dangerous. I think this is going to be one which I am going to burn when I am missing the summer rather than one I am going to burn right now give it a couple of weeks to a month and I can see this been one which I am burning. For some reason, I have managed to already lose the picture of this which is never good and I already have started to burn this.

Mango and Pineapples are a couple of fruits which I love to consume in the summer months so when I saw that Cleeves was doing a blend of them in wax tart form I knew I had to have some. If a couple of fruits scream summer to me more than these I do not know what it is. I can smell more mango than I can pineapple but this is not something which bothers me at all. I think that the blend is not too overpowering like some of the other companies which I have tried. This for sure is one which I am going to be burning in the near future.

My favourite I think I am going to claim from the whole of my haul is this little wax melt which is Slushie yes it is based on the blue raspberry slush puppy’s that you used to be able to get when I was a growing up. I am unsure if you can still purchase them now I don’t think I have seen them in a while. This smells just spot on I can not believe how much even on dry sniff I thought it smelt like this. It almost makes me want to hunt down a slush right now because they smell that amazing, Even Jess keeps stealing this sniffing it and going nice so it much is a firm favourite. This is going to be one which was soon as my tart burner has some room I am going to be burning. Just look how pretty it is how could anyone say no.

Have you tried Cleeve Candles? Could you recommend any other companies who make so amazing wax tarts?

Lush Plum Rain Shower Gel – Review

Recently it hit me that I had not tried Plum Rain in a long time which is shocking because as you know if you read my blog a lot I love Lush. Plum Rain came out in stores this year so it is the newest shower gel Lush have currently. I had already tried this because it had been released in there flagship Oxford street store.
The first thing which you notice when you see this shower gel is how vivid the purple the shower gel I can not remember a lot of shower gels which are actually purple and as some of you may know I do actually like this colour. This is one of the things which attracts me to this shower gel.
The scent of Plum Rain is one which is very unique and is not one which a has it own scent family at lush which I know is really common for Lush. Plum Rain has Umeboshi in which apparently translates into Japanese Salt Plum this is what gives it a sweet, salty and sour scent which I know sounds really crazy.  To me when I smell this scent I think of the freshness when it is a fresh crisp morning for some reason. However, when I use this in the shower I get a different scent however, this is not something which I can put my finger on. I will admit that on dry sniff this is not one of my favourite shower gels however, this can change when I am using it in the shower due to the scent change when it comes into contact with water.  Umeboshi is meant to help reduce the feelings of fatigue and supports the immune system to get body of coughs and colds; mandarin oil uses its citrus powers to brighten the skin and revive your senses, so it’s an well-rounded crowd pleaser. So this may be one which you want to use in the winter months.

This shower gel is very thick even thicker than some of Lush’s normal shower gels which as you is hard as a lot of them are very thick. It is also a shower which lathers very well which means that it is going to a long way. I think this little bottle actually ended up lasting me between 4-6 weeks which is amazing because I used it every single day and sometimes ended up using it twice a day.

Overall this is one shower gel which I would love to repurchase again in the future however, I do have a couple of 250g of shower gel in this scent so it is going to be one which will be seen in my shower again in the future.

Have you tried a Plum scented shower gel?
