Dear Dada- I’m a devil

Dear Dada

Wow, this week has flown past which means that it is not long till you are back now. We can actually say your back this month which is crazy to think it is nearly 6 whole months ago since you left. You will be glad to know that our luck has changed a little bit well mummy managed to explode a whole can of monster all over her uni bag on Tuesday. I know she wasn’t happy about that at all but lucky she didn’t blow her laptop or anything. Lucky she had a spare bag which she could use while she washed hers out.

This week also saw us celebrate Halloween I think we had 3 trick or treaters all night which of course means more sweets for our family which is always a bonus. I got home way too late to go and mummy doesn’t really agree with it anyway but I had so much fun dressed as a devil I actually wanted to go on Wednesdays with my horns on.

You might remember that mummy has been stupid and not submitted some work to uni and she thought she wouldn’t get feedback for a while. Well, the nice lecturer understands and he marked it and gave her feedback that it was a great job she only needs some small changes and as you know she will smash it because she is super awesome.

I think by the end of the week mummy was nearly as tired as me. So because we didn’t have many plans this weekend mummy chilled out a little bit on Friday night with a nice lush bath the first one for a long time and you know how addicted she used to be to bath bombs. This weekend the grandparents went on holiday which means that we hardly had any plans and I haven’t been to see any fireworks this weekend. Instead, we had a full-on pyjama day today which I think we all needed because we know that we will be busy again very soon and we need to recharge our batteries.

Mummy is already sorting out clothes and toys which I can get rid of before Christmas because I have been such a lucky girl I am hoping Santa will pay me a visit which means that I need to get rid of something. For example, we had sold some of my old coats which don’t fit on eBay and have put toys in bags ready for the charity shop. See I am learning that I don’t have to have so much stuff to make me happy and I know we don’t have the room to have too many things.

I miss you so much daddy don’t worry I will see you in not many nights of sleep now. I love you so much, Daddy.

Love from Jess xxx

5 Toddler Halloween Outfits Under £10

It’s hard to believe that picture above was taken nearly a year ago now and the time has rolled around and it is Halloween again in just over a weeks time. I am sure that I am not the only parent who is on the hunt for an outfit to send their child to nursery in however, do not want to spend too much money as they are going to wear it for one day only. Today I am sharing with you my top picks for toddlers to wear this Halloween which are under £10 so it means that they are unlikely to break the bank something which is very important I know at this time of year to parents.

The first outfit which I have chosen is this Frankie outfit which I think would be perfect if you had a boy, for some reason I feel like it is a lot harder to find some nice boy outfits for Halloween however, this is one which I really like. I feel like it is one of those which is not too cute however, it is a little bit scary without being too scary which means that your toddler will not want to wear it. This outfit is actually from George at Asda and is priced at £9. You have a whole outfit include a headpiece here which I think is more shocking due to the price all you would need to do is maybe put some face paint on your child’s dace and they would be all set. It can be purchased from Asda here

The next outfit which I love is this Devil this is similar to the one which I have picked up for Jess I did want this one but could not get in her size. I love the way that it looks with the wings and the fact that this outfit would look perfectly fine with some black tights as the model has on because as we all know it can be pretty cold at Halloween. This for sure is one which I would be picking up if I was still on the hunt for an outfit finally girls can be villains too as well instead of just the boys because I for one have a villain daughter I think this one is £9 from Asda it’s available here.
How cool is this outfit it is a mix of skeletons which screams Halloween to me and dinosaurs which is one of my favourite things as well. This is an outfit which is going to keep you warm because of the fact that it is a onesie or an all in one suit. I think for sure you would actually get a lot of compliments on this and this is something which your child could wear as dressing up outfits after Halloween. This is not one which is just for boys girls could wear this as well. This is one of the most expensive coming in at £10 however, I think it is one of my favourites. This again is from Asda I promise they have not sponsored this post, however, they are killing it with their outfits this year. You can purchase it here
Ok I cheated a little bit this one is slightly over budget at £12 however, it is one which I am sure that you could get a lot of wear out of this after Halloween as well. It is a beautiful black cat which comes with the headband I think if you team this with a pair of black tights and you would have an amazing outfit. This is from Matalan and can be purchased here

The final outfit which I have chosen is this spider witch outfit again from Asda and this is one of the cheapest coming in at only £7. This for me is a typical Halloween outfit and is not too scary so the children who they will be playing with will not be scared and think they are going to attack them. For this price, you could even try and accessories this with an amazing witches broom or something to really create the outfit. You can purchase this here .

What is your toddler dressing up as this Halloween?

Lush Halloween 2017 Haul

How has the time come around already for Lush to have released the Halloween collection this year it was late coming into stories it only launched last week, however, you have been able to get your hands on a lot of the products should you have ordered online. I have only picked up a few of the items this year as I picked some of them up previously when I visited Oxford street in August I promise I will share that haul with you in a couple of weeks time. I will apologise for the state of some of the bath bombs they fell off my pram on the way home and smashed which was not great. I know you can see ghost fairy in the main picture, however, I have since lost this product so I can tell you what it is like as I can not remember from when I purchased in store.

The first item which I knew I had to have was the monster’s ball bath bomb because it shares it’s scent with my favourite or one of my favouorite scents which is calacas. This makes such beautiful coloured water which is amazing for someone like me because it is purple and this is one of y favouote colours combined with the citrus smell which calacas has. This is one wish could be around all year long because of the fact I adore it that much. The reason this smells so amazing is due to it having the main ingredient of lime oil which always makes my mood increase and makes me feel uplifted it also has a ton of cocoa butter in which makes your skin feel soft which is something I am always needing at this time of year. For sure this is going to be one which I am going to be picking up more of before the end of the season.

Pumpkin bath bomb is not one which I picked up last year I do not think because of the fact that I was not a huge fan, however, this year I decided that I was going to give it a try. This is not one which I think smells of pumpkins not that I know what one smells like instead, I think it feels very much  vanilla and spicy scent which makes sense when I look at the main ingredient of this bath bomb which is citrus which I can not smell however, it does have vanilla so this might be a reason. This for sure I can imagine is going to make a very bright orange colour in the water and I have a feeling should I not like this Jess is going to love it and get used of the water. This is not one which I think I am going to purchase a lot of before it disappears.

Sparkly pumpkin bubble bar is one which has visited us for a fair number of years now, however, because of the fact that I am not a huge fan of the glitter it is the first time that I have ever purchased this. On dry sniff of this product it smells like it a cinnamon/ spicy product mixed with one which is a little bit fruity which is amazing as for me because I really love the spicy products which usually come out later in the year as part of the Christmas range and as you know I adore my fruity scents. I am sure this is going to be one which I am going to wonder why I have not picked up in the past I might have to try this before this product goes. I think the water is not going to be the prettiest but for sure it is one which I am going to enjoy trying.

Pink pumpkin is new this year and when I saw it online for some reason I thought it was going to share the scent with snow fairy, however, this is something which I was incorrect with instead it shares it scent more with rose jam however, it is not as strong as rose jam because of the fact it has jasmine in it which stops been too overpowering. This is something I can find occurs with rose jam often. I think this product is going to be one which is very relaxing and going to help me de-stress which is something I need to do a lot at the moment with the stress of third-year university.

Lord of misrule shower creme is one of my favourite shower gels this is going to have to be repurchased a couple of times so I have enough of this to last me all year. It is a very strange scent to explain so I will recommend if you can pop into a lush store to have a sniff of this product I would. It is black pepper and patchouli with a hint of vanilla which gives it such a strange but beautiful scent. This is a thick shower creme which keeps your skin so soft and it does last for a long time which is something I love as this is one of my favourite scents and I look forward to every Halloween when this product comes out.

This beautiful cat is called bewitched bubble bar this I am sure is going to bring one of the most amazing black water and everyone has to love black baths. On dry sniff this smells like blackberry which is a bath bomb which they have got rid of this year mixed with the comforter which is my favourite bubble bar. This is not a floral scent or too much of citrus this is a sweet scent which is a change in this collection this year. This for sure is going to be one which I need to check in the water and see if I like it before possibly purchasing some more of it.

The final item which I picked up from the range was a lip tint in black rose. I will admit I don’t know if I ever have tried a lip tint from lush however, I had seen swatches of this and new I had to try it this it comes black in the tube and into a berry kind of pink which is one of my favourite colours to wear at this time of year. I will say it is pretty sheer which means that it is one which I could get away with wearing when I hardly have a lot of make up on and it would not look out of place which is always good. For sure I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of this little beauty.

Have you picked up anything from this range yet of so what did you get? If not what do you have your eye on?
