Project Polish 2020 Update 8

I can not believe that we are here doing this update for project polish. . Anyway the thing your here to read it is my update for project polish. If you do not know what project polish is. It is a challenge where you try and use up as many nail polishes in a year. I have started with 6 and when I finish a shade I roll a new one into the project. I can not believe the amount of progress which I have made on some of the polishes over the course of the year. Anyway on to the update. If you did not see the last one it is linked here.

The first shade is the Essie Mojito Madness. This is one which I did not make as much progress on this month as I had in the last month. I think this was because I did not paint my nails as much this month because I have so busy. I am actually happy with this. There is about half of this polish left now. This is a shade which I am still loving and think it works while we are changing seasons. Fingers crossed in the next couple of months I can get this shade complete. For sure I know this is one which is going to be used up before the end of the year.

I have an empty this month as well I have finally managed to Ciate Pepperminty up. This is a shade which has been in the project a while. It was brand new when I rolled it in. I am glad it has been used up because it was a really nice spring summer shade. Not one which I could see myself using a lot at the moment. This is not one which I would repurchase I do not think because I have similar shades in my collection.

Due to this I have decided to roll in another mini and this is the Essie Avenue Mountain. This is a Bright Mid Blue shade. When I found it in my collection I knew this was going to be one which I got a lot of use out of which is one of the reasons I have rolled it in. This is a shade which will work for the rest of the year I feel like you could wear this all year long. I would say that I have used up about 1/4 of this may slightly less. For sure this is a polish which I am looking forward to wearing. I have a feeling that this is one which I could get this one used up before the end of the year as well.

I have not even touch the Kelly Brook shade for some reason. This is because I can only wear on my toes otherwise it seem to chip really badly.  With this been almost a raspberry colour it is one which I can see my reaching for a little bit more when the colder autumnal weather seems to hit. I may have to just try and use this once a month and then at least over time there is going to be some progress.

After saying last month that I needed to use some of the Barry M Rose Gold shade if I was to ever use it up this year. I did not touch it which is kind of annoying I am slightly regretting putting this shade in to the project now because I am not loving it. I can see myself maybe using it a little more when it comes closer to Christmas. This is one which I know will not be used up this year now though.

I think that I used the Bikinki So Teeny By Essie once during the month however, there was not enough progress to mark it. Again this one which I am not loving it used to be one of my favourite nail polishes which I owed. I think I just need to slowly work at it and it might get some more love.

The finally nail polish which I have in the project is the Rimmel Cocktail Club in Hawaiian Punch. This is not a polish which I have reached for this month there is no reason why not. I love this shade while we are still having some warmer weather. Again this one which I think could work great over the Christmas period as well. Despite still having about 3/4 of the polish left. This is one which I can see me using up this year.

This month I am going to make a couple of goals.. I want to be able to have 3 polishes which I have to make a new mark on this means they will have to have visible progress. I am not going to decide which shades they are going to be either.

What shades have you been rocking on your nails recently?
