Saturday- Pizza, we have decided that we are going to have a pizza because we actually need to go food shopping. It is a cheat day for me anyway. I think we are going to get some of the fresh pizza from Asda to be honest. I think that these are some of the nicest ones which are on the market. For sure this will end up going down a treat with the whole family.
Sunday- Mummy Sausage Rolls with Dirty Wedges. This is for a blog post which I am working on which you are going to see in the next week I think. This is going to be a great meal which you could do for Halloween. I have told Jess about this meal and it is one which she is looking forward to as well. This is going to be served with some slimming world dirty wedges this is a recipe which I found and thought it would go perfect with this. I haven’t ever made dirty wedges myself so it could be fun.
Monday- Taco Beef Pasta, this is something which sounds so much fun. Tacos are something which we love anyway and so is pasta. We have some mince which really needs using up so I thought this would be a great meal. I think Troy is going to be able to have some of this as well. I may get some garlic bread to go with this and the kids and Joe can have some I am unsure yet.
Tuesday- Thai Style Fishcakes, Chips and Mushy Peas, this is something which I saw in the Asda magazine. I love fish cakes and making them is so simple. I think we are going to make our own wedges or chips to go with this. It is going to be like a little chippy meal. This is one which we rolled over from last week because we ended up having some leftovers one. For sure this is one which is going to get made this week though,
Wednesday-Egg Roll In Bowl, this is a recipe which I added to the list because I have some beansprouts to use up. Since I have done this meal plan I have worked out that this recipe doesn’t even contain them. Oh well at least it will be a nice dish and something new for us to try. I have some meatless mince to try as well within this recipe. I picked it up because it was on the Shopmium app.
Thursday-Dijon Chicken and Mash, again this is a recipe which has been rolling for a few weeks. I think this week is the one where it should finally be made. I plan on using this when we have a cold wet day as to me it sounds like it is something autumnal. This is something which I think we are going to have with mixed veg because we have some in the freezer. Who knows if this will get made fingers crossed it does though.
Friday- Cajun Chicken Burgers With Sweet Potatoes, this is something which I thought I would make because we have not had a chicken burger for the longest time. We also have some sweet potatoes which could do with been used up so this is what I am going to pair with them. I just need to pick up some fresh breadcakes to go with the meal.
