Today I have decided that I am going to share with you the meals which we are going to consume this week. I am hoping this is something which I am going to be able to do more of in 2022. I often meal plan however, I do not always get the time to post them online sadly. Hopefully this is something which changes this year as it is something which I love to do. Something else I am trying to do this year is go completely veggie I am about 90% there now. So with a new year I am hoping to give it a go. On to the meals which we have on the menu this week.
Friday-Takeaway, with it been New Years Eve and also Troy’s second birthday we are going to have a takeaway. I am unsure what cuisine this is going to be. My parents are also going to come. We have some cake as well because after all what else do you have on a birthday.
Saturday- Roast With Veggies, New Years Day it has become a bit of a tradition to have a roast. I actually picked up some camembert parcels which I think have cranberry sauce with them. This is something which sounds really nice I am unsure if they actually have them all year around. There is a chance that they are Christmas stock only you can find them in the freezer. I am going to be do all of the trimmings which you have on a Christmas dinner, including pigs in blankets and stuffing.
Sunday- Veggie Noodle Soup, we have a ton of veggies which we could do with using up. Now I have decided that I am going to make a soup because it is going to be a great way to get a ton of veggies into us. I also have some part baked bread to serve with them . I have added the link so you can make this if this is something which you are wanting to make.
Monday- Chilli Mac ‘n’ Cheese, this is a meal which we was meant to make between Christmas and New Year. However, we managed to get some food reduced which meant that we ate them instead of making this. I am sure this is one which everyone will love. I may end up adding some extra veggies into the meal because like I said we have a lot of them in.
Tuesday- Lasagne With Salad, again this is a meal which we have not made in the longest time. It is one which I love to make as well so we have decided while we do not need quick meals. Again it is pasta based so I know this is one which will go down well with the whole family. I am unsure if I am going to get some garlic bread to go with this. For sure, I know it is going to be served with some salad though.
Wednesday- Veggie Chicken Noodle Stirfry, I have some chicken pieces alternatives which I picked up on Shopimum. So I have decided that I am going to use them and make a stirfry. Plus it also means that I can use more veggies in order to bulk this meal out. I seem to remember that I have sweet chilli sauce this time. I am looking forward to seeing what the vegetarian butcher chicken pieces are like as well.
Thursday- Sausage Roast Veggie and Mash. I picked up some Veggie sausages reduced the other day in Morrisons. I am going to roast of some veggies and have mash with them. They were really cheap I kind of wish I had purchased more of them. Maybe I will again in the future if I see them.
Sadly Katy is no longer doing the meal plan now. Karen has decided that she is going to run the weekly linky. Where other bloggers do share there meal plans. It is always really interesting to see what other people are having for their meals.
