Today I am going to be sharing with you the meals which we are going to be consuming, This week it is just me and the kids so I need meals which are going to be quick or easy for me to make when they both may want me. I showed Joe this meal plan and I think he was slightly jealous. This week we someone has told me that they can see the different in my face it looks like I have lost weight. Which was so nice this is something which made me feel special. Again this meal plan is pretty much low calorie and diet food but it is stuff which we are loving. Fingers crossed this menu goes down well with Jess. I know there is for sure something which she will eat at least.
Saturday- Campfire Stew, this is some left overs from last week we needed up changing the day we had it. There was so much leftovers. So we decided that we are going to use this up and then it saves us having to freeze it. We know this is a meal which is going to have clean plates because we have had it before.
Sunday- Dijon Chicken and Mash, this is a meal which I rolled over from last week as well. I have frozen the chicken so that we could roll this over to this week. I am unsure how Jess is going to find the dijon to be honest fingers crossed this is something which she enjoys. For sure this is a great comfort meal which we might need because the weather is not meant to be great this week.
Monday- Thai Prawns and Ginger Noodles, this is a meal which I really fancy. I have not had noodles for a while and this is something we normally would have. Of course, this is a meal which is so simple to make which is something which you want. More so when I might have to juggle the kids instead of been able to create a the meal when Joe can watch the kids.
Tuesday- Chicken Nugget Wraps, this is a meal which we had a few weeks ago. This is something which we all loved so this is a reason this is back on the menu. There almost like a burrito when you put some of the spicy rice and jalapenos in. Of course, I am not going to make it as spicy for Jess. I may put some salad on the side with this as well. For sure I know I am on to a winner here.
Wednesday- Thai Style Fishcakes, Chips and Mushy Peas. This is a recipe which I saw in the Asda recipe magazine. Now fishcakes are something which we love normally. I have made them a few times in the past so am looking forward to have a new recipe. I am going to make my own chips and some mushy peas because it will be a little bit like a chip shop meal.
Thursday- Toad In the Hole With Mash and Gravy. This is a meal which we are having because we have some sausages left from last week. We have made a toad in the hole before from pinch of nom and it was something we loved. So I have decided that this is something which we are going to make again. After all this is such a autumnal winter menu.
Friday-Burger in the bowl, this is a meal which we have had before in the past. I have decided to do this because instead we are going to make a healthier version of this. I know this is a curve ball meal because it is one which Jess may not like. Fingers crossed this is something which she will enjoy . If not I can make her something else.
