Today I am going to be sharing another weekly meal plan. I can not believe that we have got to the end of May already. I do not know how quick this year is going by. Of course, I can not wait to be able to go out and see my family but I know this will happen in the future. At the moment it is just the four of us home with Joe having to pop to work sometimes. To be honest it is nice to have everyone home at the moment. Anyway on to the meals which we have been consuming this week. I have been trying some new recipes again as well.
Saturday- Naked Burrito, this is a meal which I saw on an email on from Asda. It was on a lunch ideas email but we thought that we would use it for an evening meal. To be honest to it was actually a really nice meal and one which we would make again in the future. It is a great meal for the summer months.
Sunday- Fish Stew, again this was a meal which found on the email from Asda. I would never have though of making a stew made of fish however, it was a nice meal. We decided to serve this with some crispy fresh rolls which was nice. We had clean bowls all the way around which was a huge bonus. I always like that when we try an new meal for sure this will be on the meal plan again in the future.
Monday- Thai Green Curry, this meal is something which we have made in the past and for sure no doubt it is something which we will make again. I think we will need to use a different thai curry paste because he one which we used was not that great. It needed a bit more flavour and we used so much more of the paste that we should have had to do. We served this with rice I wish we had nan bread with this meal as well.
Tuesday- Philly Cheesestake Pasta Bake, this is something which I found on Pinterest. I am always looking for new recipes. This was a slimming world recipe but sadly I feel like this meal needed some more spice I ended up having put some jalapenos on this meal to give it a bit of a kick. I do not think I would make this meal again despite it been a cheesy meal which is usually something which I love. Even Joe was not convinced by this meal at all either.
Wednesday- Mushroom, Pepper, Onion Mozzeralla tart with salad. I thought I would make something summery and I had some mushrooms which could do with been used up. I came across this meal and I thought it would be perfect for this week. The weather is supposed to be nice so why not make something which is summery. For sure this is a meal which I am looking forward to actually.
Thursday- Fish Cake, Chips and Mushy Peas. I had a craving for fish for some reason because it feels like it has been the longest time since we had something like breaded fish. So this is one of the reasons this has been added to the meal plan. I know this is a meal which is going to go down so well in this house hold.
Friday- Pizza, since I feel like we need a treat this week life has been very stressful for us recently. We have decided that we are going to get a couple of large pizzas from Asda because we love them. Friday at the moment is the day which Joe goes for shopping so this makes perfect sense actually to do this. For sure this is a meal which I fancy and it might be with a garlic bread and a cider .
