Today I am going to be sharing with you the meals which we have been having this week. This week I have to admit it has been heavily influenced by a pinch of nom. We did not get to meal plan when we usually do so it meant it had to be done quickly. As a result, Joe grabbed both of the cook books and a quick meal plan was born. If you haven’t got your hands on these books I would highly recommend them. We use them so much and enjoy most if not all of the meals we have made from them. Anyway on to the meal plan for this week.
Monday- Thai Spiced Cod with Noodles. This is a dish which I thoughly enjoyed if I am been honest. Fish is something which we are trying to consume more of at the moment. This was something a little bit different and noodle are something we love. If I was to make this again though I would throw some curry powder in with the noodles as well.
Tuesday- Out, we are going to be out for food. Jess and I have the dentist back in Hull. I do not think we will be home in time to have any tea. So instead we will be eating with my parents which will be nice and be a nice change. We do not get to have many meals with them.
Wednesday- BLT Pasta, this is something we made at the weekend for lunch. I was inspired to make it for tea on Wednesday because there was only me in for food. We also had all of the ingredient which I needed to make some more of it. I even made too much so I could have some of it for lunch the next day.
Thursday- Garlic and Lime Balti, no joke this has been on the meal plan for a few weeks now. We still have not got around to having it. Hopefully this is going to change this week. I have even got some nan bread in so that we can have some of that with it. For sure it is a meal which I am looking forward to I have not had a good curry in a long time so hopefully this week is the week.
Friday- Veggie Burgers, again another fakeaway for us this week. However, this is going to be a healthier one. Veggie burgers are something which we have not had in a long time so we thought that it may be nice to add them to the menu for a change. I think these are going to be served with wedges or chips.
Saturday- Turkey Meatballs and Spaghetti. This is actually a meal which Jess choose it is one from the pinch of nom book. Joe and I had it a couple of weeks ago and it is one which we really did enjoy so I am looking forward to this meal. Again we may treat ourselves to a garlic bread however, I am unsure if this is going to be the case.
Sunday- Fajita Pie, this is something different for us but sometimes that is not a bad thing at all. For sure it is a meal which I am looking forward to. I will admit this is not always the case when it comes to different meals. Jess again picked this. I think I am going to get her involved in picking more meals in the future as it may make us have something different.
