Today I am going to be sharing yet another meal plan. With the meals which we have been consuming this week. For sure I can not believe we are nearly at the end of September I am unsure where the time has gone. With the weather now on the turn I have decided to opt for some more autumnal meals. You may be able to tell this. I am also making more food in order to freeze some for the period when Joe is going away with work. So on to the meals which I have been consuming this week.
Monday- Summer in winter chicken, this is a meal which I love we had some in the freezer before. We have some Pesto in anyway which I do not want to go bad. This meal is so simple to make I might even have to share the recipe for this in the future. I am going to be serving this with Jacket potatoes and mixed veg I think.
Tuesday- Bacon and pea risotto. We had some bacon from a recipe a couple of weeks ago. Instead of turning in the bacon into bacon sandwiches or something like that. I have decided to use it and make a bacon and pea risotto. This is something different and we had everything in for it which is always a bonus. I am hoping this is a meal which is enjoyed.
Wednesday- Sausage and Mash, I have half a packet of sausages from last week.I decided to use them to make a classic sausage and mash. No doubt I will end up sticking some mixed veg with this meal. Mash is something which we rarely. I know this is one which Joe is looking forward to and of course, it will be served with gravy.
Thursday-Smokey Calzone, this is a meal which I saw in a book recently. I thought I had to make it because pizza is something which I have been craving recently. I know I can not have it all of the time so I though making our own Calzone may satisfy the need. I think this is actually a pinch of nom recipe so it is not going to be too unhealthy.
Friday- Beef in black bean sauce with Singapore noodles and salt and pepper chicken. Takeaways are something we are trying to avoid at the moment. September has been an expensive month with Jess’ birthday and the rabbits having to have their annual injections. We have decided that we are going to make our own Chinese. Cooking together is something Joe and I love to do anyway.
Saturday- Paprika Burgers. Jess has a birthday party on Saturday it is one of her friends. I am unsure how much she is going to want to eat. We have decided to make Paprika Burgers these are something we should have made a couple of weeks ago and never did. I am hoping this is a meal which is as nice as it sounds.
Sunday- Mac and Cheese, this is something else which I found in a recipe book. I do no think I have ever had mac and cheese. I know I can hear so many of you screaming what I might have but I can not remember it to be honest. I found on which uses leeks which is great because I have a couple of them to use up.
