I am back this week with another meal plan. I have found that if I share with them it means that I am more like to make a meal plan and actually stick to it. Again this week we have got a semi healthy meal with a little treat at the end because this is not something which we have had for a while. Plus from Saturday I will have both the kids on my own for a week which will be a change I feel like I have not done it in a while. Anyway on to the meals which we are going to be consuming this week.
Saturday- Fanta Chicken, this is a recipe which I think is from Slimming World originally. I have not made it before but I heard it is one which is meant to take a little bit like sweet and sour chicken. This is going to be served with rice. Fingers crossed this is a meal which everyone loves.
Sunday- Cornish Pasty Pie, this is a pinch of nom recipe which I can not wait to make. Cornish pasty’s are something which we all like in this house. With the weather changing I feel like we could do with some proper comfort food because it does seem a lot cooler. This is one which I am looking forward to making it’s always nice to try some new recipes.
Monday- Sneaky Mac and Cheese, this is something which we have made in lockdown. However, this is one which had a bit of veg sneaked in. This is one which I can always make early if Jess is hungry and then Joe and I can eat later. Since this is a pasta dish I know this is going to go down really well.
Tuesday- Dijon Chicken and Mash, there is nothing better than chicken in a sauce in the cooler months. This is one which is going to feel like a proper family meal. I think we may put some mixed veg on the side for this as well. This could be one which Jess does not eat but fingers crossed it is one which she really enjoys.
Wednesday- Spicy Sausage Pasta, sausages and pasta is something which is amazing. I think I may have to give Troy some of this and then make it a bit spicier for the rest of us. This is one which there is going to be clean plates at. There is a chance that this will be served with garlic bread as well.
Thursday- Campfire Stew, this is another recipe from Pinch of nom this is one which we have made several times This is one which we love so much and this feels like it is made for this weather For sure there is going to be leftovers which means that I am going to get to enjoy this for a few days.
Friday- Takeaway, as a mentioned we are going to be having a takeaway. I think this is going to end up been a Chinese. This is something which I miss and we have a really nice one which is just down the road. I am trying to support small business at the moment more than I normally would.
