This week has gone super fast this may have been because of the fact that Joe has been home. He has been in isolation as a result of been in contact with someone with COVID-19. So this week we have had someone extra at home with us. This has meant that we can do some meals which have been a bit longer. Of course, next week we have Jess at home because its half term. So on to the meals which we are having this week.
Saturday- Philly Cheesesteak, this is something we saw on a slimming world Instagram page. This is something which I have never made before. I am enjoying trying to some new recipes. For sure this is something which we will enjoy. You can not have to much cheese and this is going to have a ton of it. I think this is something which we are going to serve with some chips.
Sunday- Chicken and Leek Brie Pie, this is not a meal which we have made this year. This is something which I loved making last year when I was pregnant. Once the weather has changed to a bit more autumnal and rubbish I had to make this meal. Even though this is not a meal which is too healthy it is going to be a huge treat.
Monday- Cheeseburger Pasta, this is another meal which we have seen on Instagram. For sure this is a meal which I think is going to work. Burgers are something which we like but do not have too often at all. We have not had a pasta dish in a while either so this was one which we had to add straight to the menu this week.
Tuesday- Gammon Eggs and Chips, this is a meal which Joe actually chose. This is a meal which he really enjoys so he asked if this is something which we could add to the menu. For sure this is going to be a simple meal which is something which I may need by this time. I am going to be making this with maybe fried eggs or scrambled I have not decided yet.
Wednesday- Chicken Kievs and Salad, this is another meal which we have not had for the longest time. For some reason this is an meal which I have really long time. It is something simple which I can serve with some spaghetti hoops or beans if Jess does not want salad. This is a meal which no doubt will go down pretty well in this house for sure. Plus it is so easy should I have to make it for Jess earlier than when we have ours.
Thursday- Nando’s Pasta, this is another meal which I have seen on a Slimming world Instagram. I have been finally able to get my hands on the Nandos Walker’s Crisps. So I think I am going to make a pasta bake with them it sounds something different which is always fun. With it been pasta I can see it been a meal which for sure goes down a huge treat. I think this is a meal which could be Troy friendly but if this doesn’t become the case I am more than happy to make him something else as well.
Friday- Spicy Sausage Chilli, this is something which I seem to make ever autumn we had some sausuages in the freezer so I thought I would treat myself to making this. Who knows I might even have enough to have a sausage sandwich in the morning as well. I know this is a meal which Jess is going to love I may make some tortillas to go with this meal.
