I promise that the meal plans which I create soon will become interesting again for you. I have just over a week of solo parenting left now as this post goes live. Which means that soon I will be creating meals which are not from the freezer. I am currently 33 weeks pregnant so it might have to be Joe who does a lot of the cooking. When he is back because my energy levels are rapidly declining. Again this meal plan is going to be a strange one because of the fact I have a busy weekend planned and this is going to include eating out.
Monday- Pasta with sauce and cheese. I purchase a pasta sauce which was reduced recently. I thought I would make this into a meal because I was so tired after the weekend and could not be bothered to cook. Cheese was added because I love cheese. This for sure reminds me of a meal which I would consume at university.
Tuesday- Pulled Pork with Jacket Potatoes, this is a meal which we made in the past. I think this was when I had a stomach bug so Joe decided to freeze this for me. Instead of having this with bread as like a burger . I thought this would be something which great with Jacket potatoes and this is something which I do have in the house anyway.
Wednesday- Vegetable Chow Mein, I still have some of the ingredient in for this. It was a meal which I really enjoyed. I am going to make sure that I make enough for two people in order to have some for left overs the next day. This is a such an easy meal it will not matter if I do not have a lot of energy when it comes to making this meal. For sure it is one which I will be making for Joe in the future.
Thursday- Chilli and Rice, I have some frozen chilli which I made a couple of weeks back. I am going to take this out and serve it with rice they may even be enough for some for lunch. Chilli is a meal which I have fancied this week since the temperature seems to have plummeted. Hopefully this is going to leave me with that warm full feeling.
Friday- Unsure, my parents are meant to be coming to stay for the night. So I am unsure if we will end up ordering food in or what we will end up doing for food. I think this is going to be a night which I leave them in charge of food again.
Saturday- Out, we are supposed to be going out for a meal with my brother and his girlfriend. So this does mean that I am not going too have to plan a meal this week. I am unsure what food we will be consuming but for sure it is going to be something very tasty I am sure.
Sunday- Unsure, depending on what time we get back to what we end up having. I have a couple of meals which I could get out of the freezer and cook straight away should I need to do this. I think I even have some Chicken Nuggets should I need them. Tiredness could have kicked my ass again this weekend.
