Another week has zoomed by and that of course means it is time for me to share another meal plan. For some reason this week was a lot harder for me to make. I think it took me 4 hours in total because I really didn’t know what I wanted. This week I have mainly used Instagram to meal plan. I have been loving some of the slimming world influencers which I follow. One day I may do a blog post on my favourite slimming world accounts. Even if I am not following slimming world I like the meals. Anyway on to the meals which we are going to be making this week.
Saturday- Hoisin Chicken with Noodles. I feel like it has been a while since we had a noodle dish which just makes me want to make one. This is one which is packed full of veggies as well which of course, is what is going to be the bulk of the meal. This was a recipe which I found on Slimming Eats. I do not think we have made this in the past but have enjoyed meals from this site.
Sunday- Healthy Fish Pie, fish is something which I want to consume more of this year. We have not made a fish pie for a long time so I thought this would be perfect for Sunday. The weather is still cold enough for this to be a really enjoyable meal. I think this is going to be one which we serve with some mix veg or actual veg as we have some which does need using up.
Monday- Mexican Pasta Bake. I am going to be using meatfree mince which I have in the freezer for this meal. This is another recipe that we found on Slimming Eats. Fingers crossed this meal is not going to be too spicy for Troy. Pasta is something which we all really enjoy as a family and this is one which I am looking forward to making.
Tuesday- Diet Cola Chicken and Rice. This for sure is something which we have made in the past. This is something which you would order from the Chinese. For sure this is like a proper fakeaway meal. When I first heard about this meal I thought it was going to be one which did not work but I could not have been more wrong. This is one which we now all love as well.
Wednesday- Cheese and bacon burger pasta. We have made similar meals to this in the past and it has gone down really well. For sure this is a comforting meal. Which by the end of the week I am needing at the moment with home schooling and everything else. I am not a huge burger lover anymore so this is more up my street for sure. This is a slimming recipe it just goes to show it does not have to be boring food to be healthy.
Thursday- Turkey Burrito Bowls, Mexican food is something which we all love in this house. I thought this would be a nice alternative to having normal burritos. I have noticed it is getting harder to get wraps I wonder if this has something to do with the latest tik tok trend. So I think this is going to be a good alternative and a meal which we all enjoy consuming.
Friday- Chippy Burger with Chips and Salad. This is a meal that we saw on Bec’s Bites Instagram this week. This sounds like an amazing meal for us. At the moment we are trying not to order takeaway. This is not for any reason really. I reckon we will end up having one soon. This is going to save us going to the chippy which can only be seen as a good thing. I think this is the meal which I am looking forward to the most this week.
