Today I am back with another meal plan I can not believe how quickly this week has gone. I don’t think it has helped that we have been so busy and that the weather has not been that amazing. This has been a week when I have wanted a lot of comfort food. This week I have actually weighed myself for the first time since the start of March. I have actually lost 6kg. This means that some of my healthy meals and increasing exercise is paying off. Anyway on to the meals which are on the meal plan.
Saturday- Takeaway, we have decided to have a takeaway for my birthday on Saturday instead of on my actual birthday. I am unsure which kind we are going to have yet. No doubt this is gong to be a debate all day on Saturday to see what people fancy.
Sunday- Philly Cheesesteak and Dirty Fries, this is a meal which I ended up rolling over from last week. This happened because my parents came over and we ended up having pizza. Everything I needed for this meal is still in date so I have decided that we are going to add this to the menu this week.
Monday- Meatballs and Pasta, I noticed that Asda do some new meatfree meatballs. I thought this would be nice to try to try them. I am going to be making them with some pasta sauce which I am planning on making myself. We are still trying to reduce some of our meat consumption so fingers crossed this is a meal we all enjoy.
Tuesday- Fish Burgers, Chips and Mushy Peas, I have some fish burgers in the freezer which are from Aldi. I think I only have two so the kids are going to have some fish goujons. I am going to make some of my own tartae sauce. This is something which I have seen on Bec’s Bites channel and we love this meal. I am not making my own mushy peas though sadly this time I do not have time.
Wednesday- Chicken Tikka Rice Stir Fry, again this is a meal which we have decided to roll over. I can’t remember why we did not end up having this meal. So again this is another meal which we have decided to roll over to this week this should be one which gets made this week. It is actually one which I am looking forward too as well.
Thursday- Prawn Masala Curry, this is a meal which Joe decided to add. He said he fancied a curry and I did not want to make a chicken version. This is not going to be too spicy due to the kids having this I think I am going to make this with rice as well. We have not had a curry for a very long time as well so this is going to be nice.
Friday- Pulled Pork, this is a meal which we really love this is actually a recipe which Katy has on her site. Pulled pork is something which you can make in the slow cooker. Friday is a one of them days which can pass in a flash so a slow cooker meal stops us ordering a takeaway.
Of course, like every meal plan, this is linked up with the amazing Katy. I get a lot of inspiration from her and the linky which she runs. If you are struggling and consuming the same meals I would recommend checking it out. You may find a meal which you love.
