Our Weekly Meal Plan 21st August

Today I am back with another meal plan I know it feels like an age since I last did one of those. I have actually spent the last two weeks been unwell. It was not pleasant but I am just glad that my COVID test came back negative because there would be nothing worse. I think for the first week in a while we have actually meal planned properly and fingers crossed we actually stick to it so on to the meal plan.

Saturday- Chilli, this is a meal which we have been meaning to make for a while. Now the weather has turned a bit I have decided that we are going to make it. This is something which we are going to make with rice. It is not going to be too spicy this is so that Troy can have some as well.

Sunday-Chicken Korma Pies, this is a recipe which I found from a baby led weaning book. This is something again I have been going to make for a few weeks. It is one which does take a lot of prep finally we are going to get around to making this meal. I think this is one which we are going to do with wedges.  A curry pie is not something which I have ever mad so it will be interesting to see what it is like.

Monday- Char Sui Pork Noodles, this recipe is one from slimming world. Noodles are something which we have not had for a while. This is something which is going to be a bit different to the meals which we have been consuming. I am unsure if this is going to be a meal which I make for Troy I may give him something different or a variation of this.

Tuesday- Lentil Spag Bol, again this is a recipe which Joe has chose from a baby led weaning book. I think I may have to do a post on my favourite BLW books. Sometimes it is really nice to be able to have a meal which does not have meat in it. This week we do not seem to have many of them but it is something which we used to aim for once a week at least. Maybe it is something which I will have to bring back.

Wednesday- Tandoori Chicken Biryani, I seem to remember that this is another baby led recipe. Again this is one which we have been going to make for a couple of weeks now. The reason we have not done this is because it needs to be marinate overnight and this is something which I keep forgetting to do. I think this one is going to be serve with rice and maybe nan bread depending on if I pick some up.

Thursday- Chicken Burrito Bowls, this is a recipe which we have made in the past and loved.  Mexican food is something which we all love in this house. This is a good way to have some Mexican food without having to have wraps. I think this is one which I am looking forward to it is in the slow cooker which means I do not have to think about tea bonus.

Friday- Sticky 5 Spice Gammon + Noodles, the final meal is another noodle dish. I am unsure if this is a slimming world recipe or not. Gammon is something which we all love. This seems to be another way to be able to have this. For sure it is going to be different and to be honest something which I am looking forward to trying.

Of course, like every meal plan, this is linked up with the amazing Katy. I get a lot of inspiration from her and the linky which she runs. If you are struggling and consuming the same meals I would recommend checking it out. You may find a meal which you love.
