Today I am sharing with you the meals which we have been consuming this week. The weather has been turning which has made me want a lot of hearty food. I am sure you will see this this reflected in my meal plan. We actually have no plans this weekend which is amazing because we have had a few busy weeks. Sometimes I need to remember that I am 24 weeks pregnant now. So now on to the meal plan.
Monday- Thai Red curry,this is something this week because we have half a can of coconut milk. Left from a meal last week. Thai Red curry is something which is so easy to make which is always a bonus and it does mean I am less likely to order from the takeaway which is always a bonus when we are trying to save money.
Tuesday- Sausage Ragu, this is a super simple meal. I have decided to do something pretty quick because of the fact that we have the consultant on Tuesday. I am unsure how long we are going to be there so we need something quick. This is an old hello fresh recipe which I have kept the card from.
Wednesday- Steak, Stilton and Ale Pie, Mash and mixed veg, this is a meal which I saw on Charlotte Taylor’s meal plan. This is something which I fancied to because it starting to getting chiller on a night now. I am always looking to try new meals and for sure this is something different for us. I am going to be serving this with mash.
Thursday- Shrimp pad thai, this is another meal which I have been fancying recently. I am unsure why I have been loving prawns so much. Since it is not chicken it is going to be a meal which I can cook which is a bonus. For sure this is one which I am looking forward too I love Thai food.
Friday- Paprika Burgers, this is a meal which I saw on one of the cards in Tesco. For sure I love a burger and this sounds like it could be ideal for me. This again is going to help me fight ordering a takeaway because this is not something which we want to be doing. They sound different and this is something which interests me of course, I will be sharing the recipe if I think it is worth it.
Saturday- Shepard’s Pie, this is something which I have not made for a long time. I fancy this because of the fact this reminds me of autumn and winter. This is such a comfort food and of course, I can pile it with a lot of veg to keep me getting the nutrients for the baby. I already have the candles out and am embracing the autumn feels. I am hoping this is a meal which Jess enjoys. However I am sure she will ask I think she has it at nursery already.
Sunday- Cheesy Chorizo Enchiladas, this is a meal which I have rolled over from last week. Enchiladas are something which we love however, it is not a meal which we make that often. So I thought that I would make my own because it saves us actually going or a meal out in order to consume enchiladas. Again I think this was a recipe from hello fresh originally. For sure this is a meal which I am looking forward to this week.
