Today I am going to be sharing with you again our weekly meal plan. I can not believe this is the last one before Christmas. Seriously I am unsure where this year has actually gone. This week we are having a wide range of meals a lot have been inspired by the new pinch of nom book which we had preordered. There recipes are something which we really enjoy consuming. Without further a do I am going to be sharing with you the meals which we have been eating.
Monday- Shrimp Pad Thai, this is a recipe which I have shared in the past. It is such a simple one which is what we are going to need because we are picking Jess up after our weekend away. I know this is a meal which she will eat as well. To be honest it is so simple and one which I love to make it is not too hard.
Tuesday- Chicken Dopiaza and cumin roast potatoes. This is a new recipe from a pinch of nom. It is one which Joe selected because it did sound different and to be honest. I have to admit this is one which I am looking forward to trying. It is not something which I would select should I have seen it on a menu.
Wednesday- Chicken, veg and rice bake. We have Jess’ parents evening so we want something which is not going to take too much effort. This again is another new pinch of nom recipe we would usually make something like a pasta bake. So when we saw one with rice we thought we would give it a try and see how it comes out.
Thursday- Turkey Meatballs Spaghetti, this is a slow cooker meal which we was supposed to make a few week ago. There was some reason why we did not get around to doing it. Jess is going to be at home because she has her nativity earlier in the day so will not be eating at nursery. For sure this is a meal I am convinced she will eat because it is pasta after all.
Friday- Thai Curry, we still have so much thai curry paste in the cupboards. It is something which I am trying to use up. This is a meal which we love anyway so we thought we would have it one last time before Christmas. This is going to be served with rice. I do not think I have had a thai curry in a long time so it is one which I am looking forward to.
Saturday- Sloppy Dogs and Pizza Fries, again this is another pinch of nom recipe book. I think you can tell that they have a new book out looking at our meal plan. This is one which sounds like a bit of a fakeaway meal to be honest. Of course, it is a lot cheaper and healthier I am sure than a takeaway something which we need at this time of year. For sure this is one which I am completely looking forward to.
Sunday-Spag Bol, this is one of the meals which Joe loves to make so I let him do it when he is home. It is a meal which there is guaranteed clean plates at which is always a good thing. It is super simple to make as well. I am unsure what the plans are going to be for this weekend so I am sure this is going to be something which we can enjoy consuming. Whether we have a chilled day in at home or something manic out.
