Today I am back sharing with you our weekly meal plan. I am still trying to eat relatively healthy where I can I am trying to exercise most days as well. Overall this is making me feel a little bit healthier. This is something I have needed because of having a baby and lockdown. I have not been loving my body too much. So most of the meals on the menu this week are healthy even Friday’s is one which I can enjoy. Anyway on to the meals which we will be eating this week.
Saturday- Party Food, my parents are coming over because Jess turned 5 on Tuesday. We have decided that we are going to get some pizza, onion rings and chips and have that kind of food. Normally we would have had a party for her because 5 is a big age but of course COVID has put a holt to that as well. So hopefully this is something which she will enjoy.
Sunday- Crispy Beef with Noodles, this is a meal which we should have had last week and end up not making. This is a meal which I have made in the past and really enjoyed. It has been a while since we had this meal so it is going to be nice to have it again. This means that we do not have to have a visit to the Chinese.
Monday- Chicken Fajitas, I found a new recipe to make these which included adding chicken stock and tomato puree. This is something which I have never done before but I am sure it is going to make a lot different. I am unsure if I am going to have them with a wrap or not. If you are trying to lose a bit of weight or want some new recipes I would recommend Becs Bites.
Tuesday- Chilli Beef Soft Tacos, this is one which is in the new pinch of nom food planner. It actually uses lettuce for the taco instead of taco shells. Tacos are something which we love anyway so as long as it has enough flavour I am sure this will go down really well. This is one which I am looking forward to.
Wednesday- Hunters Chicken Lasagne, this is another one from the planner as well. Hunters chicken is something which we really love in this house. Lasagne is something else which we love so it is going to be nice to see how the fusion of the two actually work. For sure reason I think this is one which I think it could be amazing or it could fail.
Thursday- Cauliflower Veg Pilau, this is a meal we saw on eat well for less last week. It is one while we was watching the show we said we fancied. I actually hunted down the recipe so that we would be able to have this. I am unsure how it is going to be but it is going to be great to try a new recipe after all.
Friday- Melt in the Middle Bacon Cheese Burger. This is a recipe which I thought would be really nice after all who does not like a treat on a Friday night. I am sure there is going to be some clean plates when it comes to this meal. I think we are going to be having this with either chips or salad who knows we may actually go wild and have both.
