Today I am going to be sharing with you a weekly meal plan. This is something which I have not managed to do one for a long time. This is for several reasons I have been trying to meal plan where possible. If you have read my update recently you may know some of the reasons why I have not been posting meal plans. Anyway I have decided that I am going to share the meals which we are going to be consuming in the coming week. I think there is a wide range of meals. Again most of them are healthy despite it been my birthday week I still want to eat pretty healthy.
Saturday- Chicken Tikka Rice Stir Fry, this sounded something different. When we usually have a stirfry it would usually be with noodles. However, I thought we would mix it up and have it with rice for a change. This is something which I am looking forward to making.
Sunday- Loaded Beef Chilli Cheese Fries, this is a Gusto meal which we have found online. I thought it sounded like a meal which the whole family would love to enjoy. We loved loaded fries and also Chilli as well which this is a combination of the two meals. Of course, I am not going to make this meal too spicy because Troy is going to be consuming it as well.
Monday- Peri Peri Style Chicken Pasta, since it is going to be a while till we go Nandos. We have decided to make a Nando’s inspired pasta dish. This is something which we have done in the past and it has been so tasty. I thought this would be a great pasta dish for this week. It is something we have not made in a long time and we have a ton of chicken in the freezer.
Tuesday- Mexican Lasagne and Salad, this is a meal which I think I have made in the past. Lasagne is a meal which the whole family do love. So having a twist on it is never going to be a bad thing at all. This is going to be served with some salad and maybe garlic bread depending on if we pick any up at the shop. I might make mine and Joe’s portion a little bit spicier than the one which I do for the kids
Wednesday- Big Mac Quiche and Salad, I know this is one we have made in the past. Big Mac’s are something which I used to love however, not so much anymore. Having it in a quiche is something different however, it is a meal which really works. Again, this is going to be served with salad. I have hugely got into again at the moment.
Thursday- Philly Cheesesteak + Dirty Fries, since my Birthday is on a Thursday we have chosen to have a takeaway at the weekend. I have chosen to make this meal because it is a meal which sounds really nice. It is almost like a meal which I may order should we go out. Comfort and nice food is something which I think we all want this year.
Friday- Chicken Hummus Wraps, this is something which I have decided to add to the meal plan. Wraps are something which we really enjoy. This is a meal which we have not tried to be honest I am unsure if I have ever had Hummus in the past or not. I thought this would be a great time to add something different to the meal plan. After all we love to try something new when we can.
