Our Weekly Meal Plan 12th February

Today I am back sharing with you the meals which we are going to be making this week. This week we have a bit more meeting back in our diet after a few weeks with barely any. Again I am making a lot of slimming world or low calorie meals. These have been going down really well with the whole family. So why not keep trying more of them. There is nothing which we haven’t loved. We have moved around some meals from last week as well. Anyway on to the meals for this week.

Saturday- Steak Pie with Mash and Mixed Veg. This is something which I have fancied with the weather still been super cold. A pie is a great way to keep us all warm and a proper comfort food. This does take a while to make hence why we are having this on a Saturday.

Sunday- Dine in Meal. We have ordered a dine in meal from Asda as it is Valentine’s Day. We are going to have steak with Jacket potatoes and veggies. Well this depends if we get any crazy subs this week. The kids are going to have a pizza. This is something which they will love I might even do some chips to go with it for them.

Monday- Chicken Nugget Curry. This is a slimming world recipe which we was meant to do last week. However, I forgot it was Chinese New Year and we ended up making our own chicken chow mien instead. So this meal got rolled over it is a meat free meal for Monday as we are using quorn Chicken Nuggets. Fingers crossed the mayflower curry sauce isn’t too hot for Troy. I think the Singapore noodles ended up a touch too spicy for him last week.

Tuesday- Creamy Bacon Gnoochi. Again this is a meal which jumped out to me anything creamy and pasta based it going to be a winner with me at the moment. For sure I know this is a meal which is going to go down well with the whole house. I might treat them and make another garlic bread. They loved it last week and after all it is half term here now.

Wednesday- BBQ Chicken with Wedges. This for sure is a meal I know both kids will enjoy they love anything bbq. This is almost liked pulled chicken so it is going to be very saucy. The weather is meant to pick up next week so hopefully this is going to be a dish which suits the change. As I write this it is currently minus 4 outside and very cold. Anyone else by Wednesday need a quick easy not needing to think about it meal. More so at the moment with home schooling.

Thursday- Chilli Con Carne, this is a meal which is always going to have a place in my heart. It is one which my parents used to make a fair bit. Tonight I am going to serve this with rice. Again I am going to attempt to not make this too spicy. More do as I am making enough for the next day too.

Friday- Burrito, this is going to be made with the leftover chilli from Thursday. I might spice this up a little bit when I make it on the Friday. I am going to add some extra jalapenos to my portion. Burritos is not something which we have made for a while however, it is something which we enjoy. I might end up bulking this meal out with some salad. Again salad is something which been loving recently.

Of course, like every meal plan, this is linked up with the amazing Katy. I get a lot of inspiration from her and the linky which she runs. If you are struggling and consuming the same meals I would recommend checking it out. You may find a meal which you love.
