My Top Honeymoon Locations

Traveling and exploring the world is something which I have loved since a young age. I soon want to see even more of it at the moment this has not happened for several reasons.  I think that hopefully next year we will be able to go on a short haul flight with Jess. I would love for her to be able to do long-haul flights in a few years because it would mean that I could visit some of the places which I have been dreaming of visiting on honeymoon. Before you all ask no we have no plans at the moment to currently get married.

The Maldives

The pictures which I have seen of The Maldives look amazing everything looks so picturesque. 1,000 coral islands make up this part of the world which means there is more than enough space for everyone.  Depending on where you actually stay as well it could see you have to get a speedboat or a seaplane to your resort. There is a range of stunning places to stay as well including iconic overwater bungalow, an opulent villa hidden away on a secluded beach, or a luxury hotel room.

This place looks so Instagram friendly and there are some amazing options which you can choose to do to make the honeymoon even more romantic. These include sunset cruises to beach picnics, private candle-lit dinners to oversized bubble baths filled with rose petals. This for sure is a place I am sure even I could relax in it does look like paradise.

Dubai

This is somewhere which I have seen several people visit in the past few years. There is not a huge flight time I think it is around the 7 hours mark and you can even fly from the North which is always a bonus.  I love the idea of been in a city but also been able to have beautiful beaches which you could relax on. There is also a water park which looks amazing. I love water and this would be somewhere which would be great to visit.

Helicopter rides, boat trips around Dubai look and sound amazing it would be the best way to experience such a beautiful place. The views which you could also have while you dine would be some of the best in the world. I think if Dubai is not a place which we visit on our honeymoon it for sure will be a place where we visit at some time in the future.

South Africa

South Africa sounds like a perfect country to visit on your honeymoon. This would be great to visit in the winter months as this is when it is the warmest in the country.  It is home to safari’s which would be amazing because for sure I would love to be able to see some of the animals in the wild which we have only seen in the zoo’s previously.

South Africa is also home to some of the world’s most beautiful undisturbed natural beauty spots.  Some of the beaches just scream at me and make me want to jump on them asap. The flight time is only 11 hours which I am unsure about doing with Jess but maybe when she is older and it’s our honeymoon it may be fine.

Carribean

I have not chosen an island which I would love to visit on the honeymoon. This could be due to the fact that they look so amazing a lot of the places have a private beach and this makes me feel like it is even more romantic.  It is always warm which means that it would not matter what time of year we decided to get married and go on the honeymoon.

The feeling of the white fairytale sand between my toes is something which I can imagine.  Seeing some of the wildlife in the sea is something which I would love to do. There is something about having turtles and fish swimming between your legs sound tropical. I think this is something which we could do as a family as well. I know it would be somewhere where I would like to visit on our honeymoon but it is more than likely that Jess will be coming as well.

California

This is a place where Joe visited when we started dating so I have been able to see pictures first hand of some of the places which he had. From some of the stories which he has been shared with me I know I would love to see some of the places which he has seen.

I think the mixture of being able to do some shopping and get bath and body works candles which for anyone who knows me is like the dream. As well as being able to be on the beach and make some amazing memories at a special time. This is again a place which if we do not visit on our honeymoon is a place which we will actually go.

When looking at honeymoons and long-haul flights I have been using Destination2. They have some amazing looking holiday destinations as well as ones which are designed as honeymoons. For sure when we are looking to book a holiday this is one site which I will be visiting.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Day’s Out- Twycross Zoo

Going to the zoo is something which we love to do. Jess has been to the zoo previously at Chester, and also visited Yorkshire Wildlife Park. We keep taking her back due to the fact that she loves the animals and she is now telling us what the animals are which she can see.

We decided to take her grandparent’s and her Great Nan as a proper family day out because it is only around an hour and a bit from their house. This is when we found out that Nanny had never visited a Zoo previously.  It was a shame the day was not bright and sunny instead it was very dull and cold nothing a jacket could not help with though.

We arrived at the zoo about an hour after Twycross opened which meant that is was not too busy. This did mean that some of the animals were just waking up and as a result of Twycross having a lot of primates, they were finding their place in the territories. It was amazing to actually because it is very rare you actually get to hear this because the zoo’s usually got so busy and do not have as many primates as Twycross.

Twycross has one of the best and I think largest ape and primate collections in the UK, and you can tell. It really is incredible with apes of all types including gorilla, chimpanzee, and gibbons. These are animals which I love to watch because we can see how similar to the apes we actually are. However, as a result of Twycross having so many primates, this means they do not have as many of the other animals which you may expect to see at the zoo.

Giraffes are one of the animals which I love being able to watch and I think this has actually rubbed off on Jess because we spent a while in the Giraffe house. Twycross only has males however, they have so many different types and who knows in the future they may get some females and we might hear the pitter patter of baby Giraffes. I hope so because they are so cute and it would make me want to visit again in the future.

The Elephants when we visited were undergoing crate training due to staff telling us that they are actually going to be moving. I think they said they were going to Blackpool Zoo as a result of them not having enough space for them to have a male which means that they can not breed their elephants. I do hope that they manage to get some more because it would be a shame for them to loose them. For sure I know going to see the elephants is one of the highlights of a trip to the zoo.

There is a nice mix of outdoor and indoor enclosures so you can observe the animals in whichever part of the enclosure they choose to be in. This does mean that if you go to the zoo in the winter or when the weather is not great you are still going to be able to see the animals which are always a bonus.

Review: Thomas & Friends: Big World! Big Adventures! The Movie

A couple of weekends ago now you may remember that we took Jess to the cinema for the first time. We actually went to see Thomas & Friends: Big World! Big Adventures! The Movie. As a result of my blog and all you amazing people reading we was allowed to got to the preview of the film. This means that I can give you my thoughts on this film and tell you weather it is worth spending some time going to see Thomas & Friends.

Plot

When a mischievous little racing car called Ace passes through the isle of Sodor on his way around the world. Thomas is inspired to embark on his own ambitious trip. Travelling full steam ahead across five continents.  Thomas discovers magnificent new sights and experiences exciting places and cultures. Along the way, he makes friends with an inspiring and fun Kenyan engine called Nia. With so much for Thomas to learn about the world, will Nia be successful in teaching him a lesson about the true meaning of friendship? Featuring a world of wonder, curiosity and amazing animal friends, join Thomas on an epic adventure, fulfilling his dream of seeing the world!

My Thoughts

It was great to see Thomas explore another island apart from Sodor, for sure he does see a lot of the world. Which shows little people who are watching that if you put your mind to it when you are older you can explore the world. This means that you will experience new cultures just like you see within the film.

Thomas gets to visit 5 continents which you see some of the cultures from the countries which he does actually get to visit on his travels. The main one which we do get to see is Africa this is where Thomas does actually meet his friend Nia she does teach us some elements of the culture. We also do also see Asia a little bit with Thomas going to see China however, we do not see the cities like you might think you would we see the mountains which have snow on instead.  South America we see in lot of detail however, this is just typical Amazon however ,this may make some children want to help save the planet so we do not damage areas which we saw Thomas visit in the film.

One element which I think this film should have done better is make us see elements of different cultures from the continents which I think they did well in.  I think that they could have also made sure that they did more of North America because there was only a short period of time spent there as well as Europe which they did actually fly through. This may have helped other children to see the cultures which may be different to theirs through Thomas.

This film also has a nice message that you can not do everything on your own sometimes you do have to ask your friends for help. You should not be afraid to have to ask your friends for some help in order to be able to achieve something which you want. This is something which Thomas learns throughout the film and he also sees who is actually his friend.

Overall

I think this film was good and Jess did actually enjoy the film and since she has spoken to me about when she went to see Thomas at the cinema.  However, I do think that 80 minutes running time is a long time for children who this film is aimed at to sit.  This means that on top of the adverts and trailers could be way too long, I think this could be one of the reasons why the ending to me seemed very rushed

Will you be going to see Thomas this summer?

2 Year Old Summer Essentials

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past 6 weeks at least you will know the UK is experiencing a heatwave. This is fun because it does mean that we can go on days out without having to worry about whether it is going to rain or not. However when you have a toddler it means that you have to take extra steps to make sure that they do not become too unhappy or unwell in the heat. Today I am going to share with you the things which we have been using this summer to make sure that Jess has the best time possible.

Canvas Shoes

The first thing which we have been using so much is the Jojo Maman Bebe canvas shoes. These remind me of the Clark’s doodles however, they are a fraction of the price coming in at the £15 mark which is about £5-10 cheaper than doodles. We have been using them for nursery because they are so comfortable for her to wear. They are lightweight which means that her feet are not sweating as much which is a bonus in the heatwave. These canvas shoes do actually dry really quickly if she gets them wet which is good because playing with the water is something which Jess really enjoys same with playing with sand this can easily be banged out of the shoes. They are so easy because Jess can even put them on herself which is a bonus because she wants to be such a big girl now.

Sun Cream

Sun cream is something which is essential because we never want our little humans to burn or damage their precious skin. In the summer applying sun cream is one of the tasks which I dread I think this is because of the fact sun cream is sticky. Applying it to a toddler can be like having to wrestle a crocodile to get it on however, with the Nivea sun cream which comes in a roll on is so simple. Jess loves to stand there and let me draw pictures on her with the sun cream which allows you protect her skin all summer long. Then we rub in the pictures so that it does not end up all over her clothes. I would recommend trying this we usually have one which lasts us all summer long. You can pick this up from the supermarkets for around £4.  Another bonus is the fact it is factor 50 which means your child is protected from the harmful sun rays.

Summer Hats

These are something which we could not do without I think Jess owns like 5 summer hats. 3 of the are actually paw patrol which is because she sees them wants them sometimes we allow them. This does mean that she is not very far from a hat which is always a bonus because you never know when the sun is going to come out. Jess is a good girl when it comes to putting hats on this may be due to the fact nursery tell her she needs one on when the sun is out.

We have picked up the majority of the hats from the supermarket and they rarely cost us more than a few pounds. I would recommend having more than one in case you do actually lose the hat or something happens to it. Keep your eyes peeled as soon stores will be reducing them ready for the autumn ranges this is when I tend to pick up new ones and store them till next summer. I only do this if I think Jess will need some new ones next summer.

Sun Glasses

These are something which Jess could not be without she frequently put them on when she is in the car. I think Jess loves wearing the sunglasses in the summer because it is what me and her daddy do and she wants to be a grown up like us. I know that she is not going to hurt her eyes when she looks at the sun which is a bonus because nobody wants to hurt themselves. We actually picked them up from Morrisons which is place which we like to look in for Jess. These were about the £3 mark which is a bargain I have seen them for like £9 in other stores they might be reduced soon again as the weather changes.

Back Pack

In the summer months there is more trips out and days spent in the park which means you need to carry more stuff. This means that you need a good bag which is going to be able to take all of the weight meaning you have your hands free. This is a skiphop bag is actually the one which Jess has used for nursery for a couple of years now. We find that having a bag allows us to have hands free and still be able to take drinks, nappies and a spare change of clothes in case of any accidents. This bag is great because we can change the length of the straps so that I can carry it as well as Jess. I would recommend getting a good bag because it will last you for a number of summers as well as been able to use it for the rest of the year.

What are you essentials for a two year old in the summer?

Book Review- Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine

Recently a book I have heard a lot about is Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine this is one which I have seen in a number of people’s favourites. I saw it in my friend Hayley’s June favourites when Joe wanted me to order a book off amazon which I noticed was in the the 2 books for £7 offer I knew it was fate. I had to order this book and I can not say that this is something I regret I actually managed to complete this book in about 6 hours for sure it was a page turner.

Blurb

Eleanor Oliphant has learned how to survive – but not how to live

She leads a simple life. She wears the same clothes to work every day, eats the same meal deal for lunch every day and buys the same two bottles of vodka to drink every weekend. Eleanor Oliphant is happy. Nothing is missing from her carefully timetabled life. Except, sometimes, everything.

One simple act of kindness is about to shatter the walls Eleanor has built around herself.

Now she must learn how to navigate the world that everyone else seems to take for granted – whilst searching for the courage to face the dark corners she’s avoided all her life.

Change can be good. Change can be bad. But surely any change is better than… fine?

Thoughts

Well as a I stated this is a book which I really could not put down due to the fact that I did manage to read it so quickly. It had me gripped I needed to know what happened to Eleanor this was not a typical book which I would read. Usually I read a lot of romance kind of stories however, this is a book to some element which I could actually relate to.

The main character of the story is Eleanor who is a 30 year old who has been working the same job since finishing university. She also speaks to Mummy on the phone once a week and drinks two liters of vodka every weekend.  We soon realise that she is awkward when it comes to social encounters and she has a reliance on alcohol because this is the way in which she buries her feelings and past grievances.. This book for sure highlights the fact that there are people who are struggling with loneliness, alcoholism and depression.

Eleanor does has never been loved we find out that she has received third degree burns as a child which has result in a scar on her face. Since the age of 10 years old she has been in the foster care system and society has kept her fed, clothed and educated but never fully loved.  Even the relationship which she has with her mum is hurtful and abusive.

This makes you think about the relationships in your life,it show you the highs, the bad and the medium. This story really makes you realise how valuable one friend can be. Eleanor had been stuck in ways she didn’t even have the eyes to see how abusive her mum was been to her let alone done anything about it.

For sure this is a book which I would recommend people reading this summer.I could not put it down and it is rare for me to actually be able to finish a book in the same day as I start reading it.  Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine is scheduled to come out as a film I can not wait to see how this book gets portrayed as a film.

Have you read this book? If so what did you think?

Review- Admiral Men’s Skincare

Men’s skincare has come on leaps and bounds in the last few years. Gone are the days when men only had a moisturiser now some of them have as many products as us women. I for one am not saying that this is a bad thing at all if anything I am all for it. Recently I was contacted by Admiral skincare to see if I would like to review some of their products.

Joe recently in the past few years has got more into looking after his skin. This could be due to the fact that I have got him into using more products. Or it could be as a result of there being more products on the market which are aimed at men rather than just been female.

Admrial Organic Antioxidant Moisturising Balm

Moisturiser is one which we have used a number of brands including Lush and Bulldog. However, we have found that they can be way to thick which is annoying when you have glasses and they slip off or you end up with smear marks on the glasses.  Or they are too thin which you do not think that you are getting enough moister into your skin.

Where with the antioxidant moisture balm with artichoke extracts this is not too thick for us which means that it is not all over our glasses which is always an bonus however, it does actually moistener your skin giving it the hydration which your skin needs. For sure this is a product which I know has changed my skin due to the fact that it has never felt so soft this product does not have a harsh scent either.

This is something which I think we are both going to use over the next few months when the weather gets even warmer when our skin needs looking after. Along with the fact that this product is going to be great when the wind burn occurs in autumn because I am sure it will save our skin from too much damage.

Admiral Men’s Detoxifying Facial Skin Care Scrub

Facial scrubs are a product which we both love so much because we find there nothing worse than a clogged up pores. We have been using this product for several weeks now and I have to admit my skin has never felt so much cleaner. This is a gel scrub with the little bits which are actually in product.  These particles are not very large but they are still effective at removing all of the grime out of the face.

Even though this is aimed at males because admrial specialist in male skincare there is no reason why women can not use this. It does actually mean that this can be a little bit more aggressive that a female one would be. This does mean that my skin does feel like it is more clean and smooth than it would be if I used a female scrub. For sure this is a product which we are going to repurchase well I we already have this just shows how much we love it.

Admrial Men’s Moisturising Skincare Body Wash

Body wash is something which we are both very fickle about we rarely repurchase the same one. Even if it is from Lush, we change the scent so much. This product is one which we found did not make the skin too dry which is always something which you want.  This is a scent which does linger on the skin which is nice because of the fact that it is such a nice scent rather than been too harsh.

This lathers up a lot which is rare for some of the male ones which I have tried, in my experience I find that they lather less than the female ones. Truthfully I am unsure if I would repurchase this shower gel because this is £11 and this is more expensive than Lush. This is something which we think is at the upper end of the budget that we should spend on shower gel.

Admiral 2 in 1 Shampoo & Conditioner For Men

Shampoo is something which I would say I am a snob when it comes to however, Joe on the other hand is not.  This for sure is one shampoo which I do think is amazing it does clean your hair. It gets rid of all of the rubbish which has been building up this also makes your hair so soft. Having a soft feeling is something which I love because then I feel like my hair is actually in a good condition.

The scent of this shampoo and conditioner is very hard to describe the people at admiral have not made this such a masculine scent it just feels very clean. I love the pump because it does mean that we get the correct amount which we need in order to clean our hair without using too much of them. This for sure is one product which we would repurchase because it seems to last for so long and it is £10 but can be often found on offer.

If you fancy grabbing anything for yourself or a loved one, you can use the code Cups25 to get 25% off which makes the products so cheap. I have even used my own code to repurchase some of the products. These would make an amazing birthday or even thinking very early Christmas present.

Life Is Making My Hair Fall Out

Recently I have been having so much stress I am sure that it is making my hair fall out. If it is not the stress of having to hand my university undergraduate dissertation in on time, on top of having other assignments.  Of course, I have the crazy toddler who can have tantrums which mean that I actually want to scream and pull my hair out. I keep joking that my hair is always falling out due to my hair aways molting. I shed more than your average dog I think I might have two coats like a pug.  I have googled it and found out it is normal to lose 50-100 strands of hair per day anyway so I guess I am normal.

I thought today I would share with you some of the stories which have left me wanting to pull my hair out. Some are Jess related stories and some are non-parenting related.

One day we were sat on the train home which is very normal for us. Nursery had taken Jess’s vest off which mean that she only had a top on nothing underneath she managed to get her arms out of the straps on the pushchair and then take her top off. I think I was busy reading a book or something similar so I did not realised that my child had become a stripper and was now topless. It was pretty embarrassing because she kept shouting so that people would look at her and she managed to do this a couple of times on the same day.  It’s safe to say that the straps have now well and truly been tightened meaning she can’t do this again.

I think it’s safe to say that Jess has selective hearing and she chooses to hear what she wants. For example, if I have told her we are doing something on a set day or we have a treat she can have when we get home she will not forget and will repeat it several times till she gets it. Once I swear she mentioned getting sweets when we got home constantly for a couple of hours. It does make me not want to tell her she is going to get something nice before we are at home.

I am someone who wears a lot of vest tops no matter if it is the winter or the summer. Jess has a habit to pull the neckline of them down which has meant that she has several times she has exposed my bra and boobs to other people. This has been embarrassing because it always occurs at times when we are in public. I am sure more than enough people have seen my boobs and including people who have not wanted to which is never nice.

Another thing which makes me want to tear my hair out is the fact that Joe will find out that he is going away with work however, plans can change right up till the day they go. Even when he is away things can change for example the day he is coming back can be put back days/ weeks which means that we can not plan anything. This is something which is very annoying and means that we can not be a normal family.

People asking me when I am going to either get married or have another child is something which makes me want to pull my hair out as well. Just because I have a child who is coming up to 3 does not mean that I want another one at the moment or because of the fact that I have been dating someone for a period of time we want to tie the knot. At the moment the focus is on getting a family house so we can feel like we are more of a complete family than we do at the moment and this is something which is annoying.

I hate the way my hair is falling out or sheding a lot at the moment and if it does not improves I can see me having to take action. Recently been looking at the hair transplant cost at the Harley Street Hair Clinic, as I feel I may need some serious help from them if things don’t start to improve for me soon. After all, I need princess’ hair in case we do get married in the future for the wedding pictures.

What makes you want to tear your hair out?

Tips For First Trip to Cinema

Going to the cinema is something which Joe and I love to do. We regularly go when there is a new marvel film out but trips to the cinema are less frequent since having Jess of course. This weekend saw Jess attend the cinema for the first time she actually went to see the new Thomas the Tank film, so today I thought I would share with you some tips to make sure that a cinema trip with a toddler goes as smoothly as possible.

1. Be Prepared

Cinema snacks can be expensive and your toddler will want everything. A tip which I would recommend no matter the age of your child is to take snacks and a drink. This is something which you allowed to do an can save you a small fortune. We did purchase Jess some popcorn and an ice blast because it was her first trip but we took some other drinks and sweets so she did not become hungry.

2. Start with a kids club showing

Many cinemas do kids club showings which occur at the weekend around 10am. This means that it is not nap time for toddlers like Jess meaning that they are not too tired and are going to fall asleep in the screening. Another bonus is that kids club usually are a little bit cheaper with some only been £1 for children which is a hell of a lot cheaper than a normal child’s ticket to the cinema.

3. Sit somewhere accessible

You will want to sit somewhere accessible this means should your child need the toilet during the film you can just pop out. It also means if your child wants to sit on the stairs they can this is something Jess did because I think she got a little bit restless during the film because she had been sat there for 2 hours, even though it was only a hour and half film.

4. Check if the cinema have booster seats

There is nothing worse than paying for your child to go the cinema and then them not been able to see. This could be due to the fact there is a tall person in front of them by your child having a booster seat this will allow them to see over the person or chair in front. If the cinema does not have the booster seats like the one we attended why not take a cushion or a pillow for them to sit on so they are raised up.

5. Don’t be afraid to leave

We all know that small children do not have an amazing span do not be afraid to leave. If your child is making too much noise and you feel like it is impacting other peoples cinema experience. If your child is really not enjoying the film what is the point of staying and forcing them to watch something which they are not enjoying it may make them think negatively of the cinema and they may not want to return. You never know that if your child is ready to go the cinema so do not be afraid if you do have to leave.

6. Pick the right film

Just because it is a children’s film does not mean that it is right for your childs. Of course, you know them best but some films can be too old for certain children for example I would not want to take Jess to a film which is over an hour and half. The reason behind this is I do not think that she has the attention span. I would not want to take her to a film which I think could be too sad for her for example something like the Lion King or Paddington.I know cinemas from time to time show films like Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol and Thomas these are good to give your a toddler good first experience. If you have taken them before and they did not enjoy it this could be a viewing to take them to next.

What are you tips for taking a toddler to the cinema?

Days Out- Hull Explorer

It is not often you get to be a tourist in your own city, recently I was contacted by East Yorkshire.  Seeing if I would like to review their back for 2018 open top bus tour in Hull called the Hull Explorer.  Jess and I actually managed to go on the bus on one of the hottest days of the year which meant she wanted to sit in the shade in order to make sure she was not poorly.

The bus tour lasts between 80-90 minutes depending on traffic of course, and it a hop on hop off bus service. You learn so much about the history of the city of Hull, see parts which you may never have seen even as a local there was parts I had not been to in a long time. Due to the bus been hop on hop off it does mean that you can get off for drinks or have a closer look at some of the sites of Hull. This is something which we did not have the option of doing due to the fact it was a training day we attended but this is for sure something which I would do if I went back on the Hull explorer.  I think on a nice day getting of the bus and having some drinks down Humber Street and the Marina would be very nice and refreshing.

While you are on board the Hull Explorer you will have a very knowledgeable guide who will enlighten you about the story of Hull. Also some of the landmarks which it is home to.  I actually learn so much on the bus, for example, the reason why the city is called Kingston upon Hull is that it was the second biggest port outside of London.  So it was the king’s town upon the River Hull.  I also learned that Hull has a statue to King Billy who is the one who brought Gin to England so I think we owe so much to him.

On the tour you get to see places such as Queen Victoria square which is home to the city hall, and the maritime museum. This is along with the statue of Queen Victoria who sits above the public toilets. This allows you to see some of the old buildings despite being in the city center close to all of the shops.  This would be a great place to get on or off if you want to browse the shops or learn more about Hull’s fishing history.

Just around the corner from the Queen Victoria Square there are queens gardens as I said it was a very nice day there was a lot of people enjoying the sun. This would be a great spot to grab some lunch or having a drink. These are beautiful fountains and around the back, there is a huge pond which you could enjoy. This is close to be two of the old docks in Hull and close by in Beverley gate you can see some of the remains. The King was locked out of the city by the people during the start of the English Civil War.

High street is another place where you get to visit on the Hull explorer. This recently had been filmed as the streets of London in Victoria the hit tv show. This is still home to some of the old warehouses which used to be used by the fisherman when Hull was still a thriving fishing port.  This is a cobbled street so it can be pretty bumpy when you are on the Hull Explorer.

The marina is another stop which the you will get to visit, this is very close to Humber Street. Both areas have been redeveloped as a result of the city of culture this is a thriving area with a lot of bars and restaurants.  This for sure is an area which you should get off and spend some time around there is some amazing ice cream areas.

There are other amazing areas which you visit including:

  • Cenotaph
  • Wilberforce Monument
  • Museums Quarter
  • Hull Minster
  • The Deep

This year, Hull Explorer runs for every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7 July until 2 September.  This means there is plenty of time this summer to explore more about the city of Hull.  The Hull Explorer is not expensive with adult day tickets at £8, students and OAps’s £6 and children £5. Those who are under 5 are free and a family ticket can be purchased for just £21.

Conclusion

I would recommend visiting Hull and going on the Hull Explorer I learn so much on this tour. Jess enjoyed seeing some of the different cities around the city however, it may have been due to the heat that she got fed up. However, we she is only 2. I would recommend going on this tour even if you are a local because it is always good to learn more about your own city.

Have you ever been to Hull if so what did you think?

Taking photo is something which has been a passion of mine since I have had Jess. I must have over 2000 pictures of her if not more, however, displaying them is something which I fail to do but then I remembered that I could have a personalised phone case with one of my images.  I thought this was a subtle way of having Jess with me at all times.

Phone cases  protect your phone from drops and knocks now and they are a good way of showing your personality and art work. I used to change my phone case a lot but I think I have only had 1 in the last 18 months since I got my iPhone 7.

I have never had a personalised phone case before I have always had just a bog standard one from either the high street or Amazon.  It is now so easy to be able to have anything personalised I have done it for members of my family a gift.  A personalised case is something which I can see me purchasing for my family this year because they always have their phones on them and want to protect them from breaking.

When I found My Personalised Case I could not believe how cheap they were because I know when you start customizing items it can become very expensive. However, the one which I have actually only come in at around the £12 mark which is not going to break the bank and is considerably lower than some of them which I have had in the past.  I decided to choose the full hard case because this would give my phone more protection when either me or Jess drop it.

I found the website so easy to use and could customise my design as much as I wanted. Sometimes I have found it very hard to be able to get what I want when I have a vision in my head.  All you have to do is choose the phone or tablet which you want the case for. There are so many different types including Samsung and Apple you are sure to find the phone you are looking for.  They also have a number of styles which you can have for example silicon, hand shell, and even wallet options.

When personalising the case you can either add one photo or several and make a collage and even add text like I have chosen to do.  For sure you can have a lot of fun playing around with the site but it is so simple when I had finalised my design all I had to do is add payment and shipping details, this was the most simple part of creating my personalised phone case.

I seem to remember that my case arrived within 3 days which was amazing as you never want to have to wait.  When I got my hands on it I realised how hard wearing the case is and it seems like it is made to a high quality. There is no chance of my phone falling out of my phone case or it breaking which is something you want from a phone case.

I have had my phone case on for a month now  I wanted to give it a real test. My phone has been dropped several times due to me and Jess. I can not feel any scratches which have occurred as a result of the drops which is amazing as usually, I can on phone cases.   Jess loves getting hold of my phone and saying Mummy it’s me.

Conclusion

The quality of these cases are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a personalised case you can make your own phone case so easy and stand out. They are so cheap compared to others on the market and you are not compromising on the quality. This for sure is a company who I would recommend if you are looking for a personalised phone case I know when I upgrade in November I will be purchasing another one

What photo or design would you get if you got a personalised case
