Decluttering Your Digital Space

Since I have been spending a lot of time on my laptop when I was completing my university degree I realised how much stuff I have on it. This is not helping the speed of my laptop at all if anything it is actually making it run a lot slower than it needs to be.  It was actually weighing me down when thinking about it was not my laptop my phone is another space which could be running a lot faster if I did not have so much stuff which I really did not need on it.

This made me want to do something about it because I am always complaining how slow both devices are actually running.  I decided that I was going to declutter my digital space. Getting rid of thing which I do not need in order to make sure that both devices are running as fast as they actually can.

Delete unwanted apps

I barely have any space on my phone it is always warning/moaning to me about the lack of space. There is a lot of pictures which are of Jess in her couple of years which she has been on the planet stored on my phone .  I found that there were apps on my phone which I had downloaded when I had a lot of spare time and needed games which were going to help me kill time. 3 apps I found which all which had space on my phone for no reason I managed to delete.

This is something  which I am going to do regularly to make sure that I am actually using all of the apps which I have on my phone because they are weighing me down if I am not using them.  There are a couple that I could actually get rid of if I was been a little bit more ruthless however, I have told myself if I do not use them soon then they will actually be gone.

Delete Downloads

The number of times you open an email which comes with an attachment and then this ends up been downloaded. For me, there is a lot of documents which I get sent this way.  When I did this I got rid of at least 500 documents this includes some of the powerpoints which I needed for uni.  I could not believe how much this had actually speeded up my laptop for sure I did not know how rubbish was clogging it up. For sure this is going to be something which I am going to have to this regularly to make sure that it is not going to run as slowly as it has been in the past.  I have also deleted documents which I no longer need any longer and those which I have been keeping just in case.

Use folders

I also made sure that the documents are in the correct folders so that I do not just have random documents all over my laptop. This means that should I need to visit the document I can find it very easy and I know what it is rather than having to search the whole of my laptop which is always something I want to avoid. It has also helped me notice that I had documents which were way to old which I deleted.

Unsubscribing from emails

If you are anything like me you will get hundreds of emails a day which is very annoying because I do not need a fraction of them. I think there is only a couple of them which I actually use. One thing which does annoy Joe is the fact that I have over 13,000 emails. I know that I do not actually need all of them I know I am going to be able to delete so many of them.

With the GDPR I know I am going to be able to get rid of so many of these emails because I am going to unsubscribe. I have managed to delete 1,000 emails however, I got bored of doing this but I am going to be trying to make sure that I delete the majority of the emails which I get over the course of the day in order to make sure that they do not stack up again. I know that currently, they are actually like way out of control.

Delete Bookmarks

Bookmarks are the things which we all use in order to make sure that we do not lose the page. However, if you are anything like me you end up not actually having deleted them. I think I still had bookmarks for pages which I thought would be useful for an assignment which I completed a whole year ago. I for sure don’t need the bookmark and the page was not something I think I needed. If I want to revisit the pages I know I can always find them again by just doing a simple Google search.

Do you ever feel overwhelmed by all of the things on your laptop/ phone?

Move or Improve?

As some of you may know we are looking to purchase our first house this summer. We finally want to have a house were we can all live together instead of spending half of the time solo parenting. While spending the rest of the time together it is now about time to combine two homes into one. With the budget we have it could mean that we have to make sure that the house is something which we can improve over a period of time. So it could me we do move and improve the house. Hopefully this is only simple things such as painting and making sure that we have our own touch on the place. I really do not want to be one of those peoples who have to knock wall down and build an extension because we really want to move in this summer. As you can imagine i don’t really want to live in a building site with a toddler.

Like most people location of the property which we are going to purchase is important but of a study of 2000 people conducted by Slater Gordon found only 35% stated that this was important. For us we want to be able to have good travel links due to the fact it is unlikely that we are going to have a job in the area we live. We also want a house that is going to be big enough should we have another child it will mean that we do not have to move we may end up moving again however,I hope to be in the house for a long time as well. However, you never know if you are going to have to due to job relocation or something similar. So you could say that I am one of the 1000 who wouldn’t say that they are never going to move in the future. As some of you know moving out fully is not something which I have done so it does mean that the whole new moving house experience is new to me.

I guess you could say I have moved a few times because I have actually changed houses while at university but these were not properties which I could have stayed in long term however, on average adults move 3 times during their adult life. So who know I may just not be normal.

This means that we are likely to be moving and improving the house both things which I barely have done in my life. However, some tips which I have been given when speaking to people about moving houses is make sure that you have removal men to take things from our house to the new house. This is something which I am unsure if we will have to do because we will be purchasing a lot of furniture new because we don’t currently have a family home.I know there is going to be a lot of bulky things which have to be moved so this could see us hiring a van so we can actually get them to the new house.

Another tip which I have been told is to make sure that you tell people that you are moving this is people such as the bank, phone companies and others who you may have to pay bills for. Don’t forget if you have something such as a subscription box do not forget to tell them that you are moving otherwise you will not have it at the new address. This is not going to be a problem for use because we are still going to have people who we know at the address which we are moving from. But usually of course this is something which you will need to do.

There is not guarantee that we are not going to have to do work on the house this could see us having to get tradesmen such as electricians and gas fitters. These are people who you need to make sure are qualified don’t try and do it yourself or you could see yourself as one of the 220,000 people who end up in hospital a year as a result of DIY.

Are you a person who would rather move than do their house up?

Paulos Circus Review

Recently we was lucky to run away and join the circus. If you have ever met Jess you will believe it because of the fact that she is crazy enough  to be able to join. She is that dangerous and does stunts I am sure she would be accepted as well.  I do not think I have ever been to the circus which had been touring while I was a child however, I do remember about 7 years ago going to the Blackpool circus.

We were informed to arrive at the circus 45 minutes before the performance was due to begin. This is something which I would recommend doing as they do let people in 30 minutes before and it is first come first serve when it comes to seating. There is popcorn, hotdogs and drinks to be bought at the start we did manage to purchase a bag of popcorn however, Jess seems to really like it so it didn’t last too long this is something I would recommend doing as half an hour wait can be a long time for little ones. The overall show is around 90 minutes so make sure that they have enough drink for the whole show.

It should be noted that this is a circus performance without any clowns in it. This is great for anyone who has a phobia of clowns. The first act which starts the show was a couple of performers who had their face painted in the dead of the night this was amazing They are on the hamster weeks as you can see but instead of been inside them they are actually on top of them it is not till you are at the show that you can appropriate how fast these are actually travelling at.

Of course, there is the standard wheel and knives trick which always manages to take my breathe away because what if one time if does actually go wrong. There a guy who is called Mr N who is very funny because he does stupid things which are a little bit naughty. You could day that he is a clown even though he is not dressed up like one. He is very funny however, if your child is not that old they may not find some of it funny as it features songs from the past 7 years which they may not remember.  I must admit he was really funny and really got the audience laughing as he was so silly.

Of course, there was more within the show however, I do not want to spoil too much should you be going to see the show soon. There is an amazing girl in a trapeze hoop who actually I was actually in awe of I just wish I had her skills. An great light show is also included which did look very impressive I think this is something which Jess loved because her eyes where wide during the whole of the session. Of course, like any good show they had a grand finale which included a tight rope but this is something which I think was my favourite part of the whole show because it managed to keep me on the edge of my seat wondering whether they would be able to do this which they were attempting.

Overall Thoughts

I was worried that taking Jess who is not actually 3 yet that she would get bored and it would be an unpleasant experience for everyone. Due to waiting 30 minutes in the tent before the show and combined with it been close to her nap time. Jess did actually fall asleep for a period however, this was not due to her been bored it was more because she was so tired.  There is a lot of audience interactions which is amazing and keeps everyone engaged.

All tickets to The Paulos Circus are £7 a seat which is really good value. The show lasts 90 minutes which is not too long for the little ones to be honest. I think Jess could would normally be able to stay awake and due to it not having an interval it means that they do not lose distractions and demand more food. For sure I know Jess would have demanded another drink and popcorn.

The Paulos Circus is in York at Roko Health Club till the 13th May and then goes to Pontefract Farmer Copleys from the 24th May till 3rd June this included the school holidays. For more info, visit The Paulos Circus on Facebook or call 07508 584811.

Have you been to the circus recently?

Review- Appy Kids Co Drinks

Jess recently has become obsessed with the gruffolo which really hard because of the fact that you struggle to find much with this on it when it is not Christmas time. However, recently we were contacted by the lovely people at Appy Drinks Co asking use if we would like to try some of their drinks. One of them included the Gruffolo, Matilda and a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

If you have not heard of Appy Drinks Co they are a company who are on a mission to create healthy drinks which are affordable for children. To make children want to do to drink this they have used well-known characters to encourage children to do drink these instead of wanting fizzy or unhealthy drinks. Jess when she is at home usually has a small amount of no-added sugar cordial into her water which she loves but when we are not at home she ends up having to drink fruit shoots when she is travelling or on a day out.

They come in a range of flavours we were kindly sent the orange and carrot, mixed berries and also an orange. I was actually worried that Jess was not going to enjoy the gruffolo ones due to the fact that they were the orange and carrot. However, I can report that she really did end up loving them because they were the ones which she ran out of first. This reminds me I need to order her some. I have actually tried some of the juice and can admit that it is very nice to be honest I thought that they would be weak and not full of flavour. I for sure can see why Jess really enjoys them.

They come in cartoons which means that they are very easy to be able to put in the bag when you are going on days out or if you are like us we do have some in the boot of the car. However, we need to make sure that we open the for Jess because she can’t actually open them by herself because it is a little bit tricky to pierce the pouches with the straw even for me.

The Appy Kids Co drinks are available to buy from Tesco, B&M,  Wholesale Foods Market, Spar and Poundland. If you are like me and like to shop online you can actually purchase them from Amazon as well there even on Prime which means that you do not have to wait.  For 24 of the 200ml cartoons they are between £15 and £24 depending n the flavour and the pouches which they also do are around £18 for 40 on amazon.

Overall Thoughts

I’m really pleased with these drinks! They taste nice and Jess seems to enjoy them a lot too. Appy Kids Co have a huge range of juice drinks available and you can find where to buy them here, and they’re all healthy. These drinks are perfect for the whole family and I would definitely buy them myself in the future.

Have you tried these drink?, If so what were your thoughts

Are You Road Trip Ready?

If your family are anything like mine we seem to be spending more and more hours on road. Whether it traveling between the two hours we currently reside in. Trips to see family or exciting days out. The car is a place which on average we spend up to 2 hours a day in per week day and this can increase on a weekend.

As a result of spending so many hours in the car we need to make sure that our car is always ready at all times for the trips we are making. Whether this be making sure we have snacks and juice for Jess so she doesn’t become too grumpy should we end up stuck in a traffic jam for a long period of time. Miles from anywhere would be our luck I always make sure that we have these supplies stocked up.

Music

Making sure that we have some good music is also essential for us. Some of the drives which undertake are long motorway routes. Meaning that there is no beautiful views so having music on can help pass the time. One of the CDs which we have been loving is the now that’s what I call Rock music. I also had Spotify which allows us to choose songs based on our mood. This reminds me before our next road trip I might have a look and invest in another CD.

Clothing

As Jess is still only 2 making sure that we have a spare set of clothes within the car. She does still struggle with car sickness and has had to travel in just a nappy before. She can get very messy and wet in days out which means that she would be uncomfortable to travel home. Which would no doubt end up resulting in a tantrum all the way home. Something for sure we want to avoid.

Windscreen Wipers

As a result of living in the UK and the large amount of rain we seem to get here in Yorkshire. The windscreen always seems to be dirty so making sure that your car has enough screen wash in is important. Before going on a long road trip make sure that you have it topped up because you never want to be in the position where you go to use the screen wash and it’s run out leaving you with a dirty windscreen barely visible out of. We also leave a small bottle int he car now meaning we need to only apply water which can be done at a petrol station should we start running low.

Inflated Tyre’s

Make sure your tyres are inflated to the correct pressure needed for the load which you are carrying. For example if you are just going on a normal day out with the children you do not need them as inflated as if you had a boot full of heavy items. If you have them under inflated you may find it harder to slow down quickly something you might need to do if something runs out in front of your car. It can also make getting out of the way harder. However, if have them over inflated you run this risk of a blowout occurring. This is something which I am very scared of occurring as there could be some serious consequences. You can check your pressure at most petrol stations or even have your own portable pressure checker.

Tread

Finally make sure that your tyres have enough tread on them. There is nothing which is going to spoil a road trip more than been pulled over by the police due to your tyres been illegal. Make sure that you have the legal tread left on them TyrePlus can help you with this. If you do not have enough tread left they will replace them for you as having too little tread could result in you failing to be able to stop in an emergency.

Electrics

If you are like us you may end up traveling a lot when it is dark or in bad weather which means that you require your electrics. Things such as your indicators, lights, heating and also your windscreen wipers. Failing to have checked that these are working and then finding that they are broken could result in you having to pull over at the side of the road and wait for the recovery. Due to driving without lights and indicators in this conditions would significantly increase your chance of been in a collision.

Making sure that you have done these checks and have snacks, drink and entertainment in the car should result in a smooth road trip.

What checks do you do before traveling in the car on a road trip?

Advice For Millennial Renters

Keys

As some of you may know we are looking at purchasing our first property this summer. However, I have been in the position where I have rented a number of student houses in order to live in different cities to the one I am from to complete my studies. I also have a number of friend who you could class as millennial renters after speaking to a few of them I have complied a list of what you should looks for when renting a house.

Stay at home

This might sound like a strange one when sharing tips for renting a house. However, renting is not cheap in some cases it is more expensive than having your own house. If you have the option to still live with parents or friends take it up I am not saying that it is going to be completely free to do this however you will be paying nowhere the price of rent. I know for one that when looking at 2 bed rent prices in York I couldn’t find much under 1000 a month. Currently we are loving with my parents while we save up enough money to be able to purchase our house. I think now we have enough of a deposit, we just need to find somewhere that we love.

Take Pictures and Read your contract

Take pictures of the property when you move in making note of anything broken or missing. For example when I lived in my third uni house for a few months there was no curtains for a period of about 2 weeks. This was an issue as I lived backed onto a school and anyone could have seen into my room. The landlord was convinced there was some curtains in the room. It was in my contract that there should have been and this meant that he had to to sort the problem out. If I not read my contract I might have actually ended up purchasing some curtains when I wouldn’t have needed to.

Have Contents insurance

You want to make sure that your possessions are safe and this will give you a piece of mind. This is something which I never did when I was at uni because of the fact that I had my laptop and phone on their own kind of insurance. However, speaking to my friends it is important to get some contents insurance this something which we will be doing when we purchase our own house anyway. But if you are renting you may need some more advise on what kind of insurance that you need and what your landlord’s insurance will cover you for. You can find more information about insurance with Homelet.

Make it your own

A tip one of my friends shared with me was that even though you can not paint the walls and make major changes it does not meant that you can not make the place your own. For example they recommend getting things such as cushions and other soft furnishings to make the place like a home. If you want more storage make sure that you have things which you can take to your new place when you move out. This will not end up annoying your landlord which is something which you never want to do.

Deposit Protected

Make sure that your deposit is protected this is something which we had when I was again in my third university house. Your landlord has to put your deposit into a protected scheme this means that you’ll get the full deposit back at the end of the tenancy provided you’ve met the terms of the tenancy agreement .If they do not do this they are actually breaking the law. I remembered that we got an email from the scheme when our landlord put it in the scheme and then 30 days after our tenancy we got the deposit back.

Do you rent if so what advice would you give to those who are looking to rent their first place?

Sleep better with Feather and Down

Sleep of course is something which we all need and love. It is something which some of us as parents do not get enough. I regret not sleeping more before Jess was was born because I used to be able to go to bed after a night out at 4-5 am and then still be up and at a 9 am lecture. Gone are the days of that now I need to be in bed by 10-11 pm in the week days.

Recently it was national sleep week and I was contacted Feather and Down. They are a company whose products are made in England who have a range of bath, body and home fragrance helping you drift of to sleep.

Shower Cream

Now showering is not something I always do a lot before bed because I prefer to shower in the morning due to the fact that the shower wakes me up. However, I did start showering at night because of the fact that this is claims for you to have a better night sleep as a result of using this shower cream. I have used this in the shower as well as using in in a bath for Jess. When applied to wet skin in the bath or shower, this creamy, dreamy shower cream immediately lets off a hit of calming Lavender and Chamomile essential oils. It made me want to drift off stood in the shower which is not usually something that occurs to me as I struggle to sleep.

I did notice if you use a shower puff and apply the cream to this instead of directly on to the skin the scent does last longer. This is something which I am used to due to using Lush a lot so this is something which I loved. I asked my partner to use this as well and he reported that he liked it as well however, he did not know how much it effected his sleep. One thing which I made him guess is the price and to be honest he was not very far away this bottle costs £6 for 250ml. You can get your hands on it from Boots I would recommend picking some of this due to the fact it might help you sleep better and it does smell amazing.

Sleep Balm

Feather and Down do another product which is a sleep balm this is a little pot which you are supposed to apply to your pulse points. I think this would be amazing because as many of you know I do travel a lot which means this could be popped into my bag. It could be applied if you want to take a nap in the car and also if you like me struggle with nerves I am sure this could be on which could calm you down before an exam or something which is stressing you out. This little pot will last you a long time and does not actually break the bank as it is only £7. I usually apply this an hour or so before bed when I am starting my routine this is going to help my body know it is bed time when the lighter nights come. This is one I would recommend for people like me who are always on the go.

Pillow Spray

There is a lovely pillow spray which has been created by Feather and Down it is £7 which is a fraction of the price of that of this works and other brands which I have seen. I have used this a few times and have noticed that there is a huge scent of lavender when you spray this. This is something to be aware of because I know some people like my mum can not deal with that it would give her a headache. I do have to spray this a little bit before I go to bed because otherwise I do find it too much. I do not again know if this was due the scent but I think I slept better and this bottle is going to last a long time which is always a bonus.

My thoughts

I think that Feather and Down are an amazing brand they can not say that you are going to have an amazing night’s sleep due to the fact that you have used some of their products. I would really recommend the shower cream of the three items which I have tried from them. It amazing that you can get them from the the high street for under £7 is a steal as some brands you would be paying double. I think this is going to be amazing if the weather comes warm in the UK where you end up struggling to sleep or even if you are going on holiday these might be great.  I feel like I am going to have to have a look at more of this range because candles are something which I adore.

Have you seen this brand or tried them at all?

Days Out- Exploring Dalby Forest

Having fun and a day out does not have to cost a lot of money a few months ago when it was a little bit cooler we decided that we was going to hop into the car and visit Dalby Forest. This is not a place which I have been previously despite the fact that it is only just over an hour away. As many of you may know Jess is such an outside child and would rather be having fun that stuck inside. Even in the winter she loves nothing more than putting on her coat and getting out so when we suggested a walk in the woods she loved the idea.

We decided that we was going to do of the trail walks I think we actually choose on the the 3km routes because we knew that it was not going to be far for Jess to be able to walk. There was stages were she did get bored but I think this due to the fact that she was actually fighting have a nap something which she has loved to do since the turn of the year. We did not actually want to carry her because anyone else who knows how heavy two year old are will know that they are not something which you want to carry for a long time.

We found a way to get her walking was to pick out a stick from the side and ride it like a horse. This is something which we loved to do because Jess was giggling her head of which is always amazing to hear. She even made us each have a stick which was like been a child again.

As you can see the views which you get to walk around are very pretty this is something which I adore because even though I spend a lot of time in York. The air of there is not as clean as it is in the forest even though we did go when it is off peak and very muddy.I would recommend wearing clothes which you do not mind getting muddy after all clothing do wash. If we are lucky it should start be able to dry up and getting walking should be a lot easier.  I think it cost us £4 to park all day however, I think it is March which it does change to £8 which is still cheap.

When the weather comes warmer and drier it would be a great place to be able to take the bikes I know this is something which when Jess does get her next size balance bike I will be doing.  It is very easy to put the bike in the car and have hours of fun.As an adult you can hire bikes so you do not have the inconvenience of having to transport your own bikes.

Of course, this is going to be a very great place for me to do some of the training which I am going to need to complete in order to do my 100km walk in the summer. I know that when I have finished my uni work we will be spending some of the weekends there and it will allow me to get to grips with the equipment which I will be carrying on my walk.

A good way to be able to keep the children entertained is the fact that they do have activity trails last year I know it was the Gruffolo which is something Jess is obsessed with. This year is the Highway rat which I am unsure if this is something which she has read but I am sure it will be something which she would love exploring. I think it costs £3 per family and this is going to be a good couple of hours out in the fresh air as it is 1.5km and with little legs it can take longer.

There is also an amazing play park which your child can burn a lot of the energy of at. This is for sure something which Jess needs to do. I think she spent about an hour in the park which was fun even though it was very cold when we visited. Hopefully when we go next we find it a bit more warmer but we did manage to get a really nice hot drink they do sell food which did not seem to expensive. However, we did treat Jess to a picnic because this is something which she always seems to enjoy. I think maybe in the summer we might do a bbq because you can take them disposables ones as well.

Conclusion

I for sure know this is going to be a place where we are going I be revisiting again this year when the weather does become a little bit better. Who doesn’t want to be able to get out walking which keeps you fit and healthy like I said Jess can take her bike. No doubt because she is obsessed with bubbles and footballs these are things which we will be taking.

I would recommend taking a picnic because I can imaging that it is going to be a bit of a wait for food when it is busy. Plus it does mean you can stop where you want and have some food which is an advantage. For £10 you can have a lot of fun and fresh air there is also a go ape there which could be fun if you fancy that.

Have you been to Dalby Forest?

Keeping Hydrated with Aqua Carpatica

As some of you know that I am in training as such for my 100km in under 30 hours.  I am trying to get a little bit fitter because of course, this is going to help me feel better while doing this. Increasing my water intake is also going to help I know that I do not drink enough water as you are meant to drink 2 litres per day this is something which I have been trying to achieve since the start of the year. I am having a lot of mixed days sometimes I find it very easy to drink a lot of water other days when I am bust and not working on my laptop I can find it a struggle to drink water.

I was contacted by the lovely people at Aqua Carpatica to see if I would like to review their water. This is untouched spring water which has is source in Romania close to the forest which is in the free from chemicals and farming. This does mean that it is pure spring water which is as pure as it can be. Which is always a bonus when you are drinking bottled water as it is a lot better for you compared to water with a lot of chemicals pumped into it.

I got sent these huge 1 liters  bottle of still water which means that you could very easily carry it around it with you for example I could have it in my University bag. The still natural water is great for when the body needs healthy hydration and it also has the lowest sodium level of any bottled water which is currently on the market within the UK.  This is great for me because I can get dehydrated because I forget a lot of the time to drink when am busy writing my dissertation.

I have been putting this in the fridge because of course chilled water is always the best. I think that it made it taste even more clean and fresh. You can taste the difference compared to normal tap water it is a lot more softer maybe this is because I live in an area which does have hard water.

Due to the fact that the bottle is a large it can be kept in the fridge and you can grab a glass when you need it for me this is sometimes after doing a lot of time on my computer or when I have been running around like a crazy mummy.  It does allow my body to have the fluid which I need to refuel and stop me been very dehydrated which can be come a problem for me.  I can completely tell the difference when I have been drinking water I seem to have a reduction in the amount of headaches which I get and also I feel like I have a lot more energy. This could be due to the fact that I am not dehydrated and my body is trying to shut down.

For a 500ml bottle the RRP  for the still natural water is 69p and 1 litre is 89p while 1.5 litre only 99p,. This is very cheap considering other brands charger 99p for 500ml this can be more expensive depending where you are purchasing it for. This for me is very good value compare to the other prices. Aqua Carpatica is amazingly priced. You can purchase these bottles through out the UK in Tesco, Ocado, Amazon and independent stores.

Conclusion

I would recommend giving this water a try if you are like me if you are struggling to drink enough water. The benefits are huge drinking water this is very clean and easy to drink which makes me want to drink more so I feel refreshed and feel the benefits. It is great for those who are like me who are always on the go but still need to be able to stay hydrated .

Do you drink enough water?

Vintage Inns – The Three Cups – Stamford Bridge Food Review

A few months ago now after a day at the beach, we were heading back towards York in need of food. When we drove through a village called Stamford Bridge which is close to York. I think we had a couple of moments to have a look at the menu before they stopped serving food as it was around 9 pm. The food which we choose was of a very high standard that we decided that we would return in the future.

A couple of weeks ago now we actually made the returning visit. As we were child free for the night and looking for somewhere to have some high-quality food and we knew this is something which would find at the three cups in Stamford Bridge. As you can see from the menu they do have a vast array of food which you can choose from. All which is cooked fresh when you order as you would expect. One thing which I would state is the food is not that expensive I think for a two-course meal for two it came to around £40 this included drinks.

I choose to have the pate as a starter which is something that I am highly fond of anyway. It came with a small amount of toasted bread which of course was delicious I managed to spread it over the bread. However as with pate when you have eaten it you walkways wish there was more this something which I really enjoy. This for sure is something which I would have again if I returned I think it might have been what I had on my initial visit as well.

My partner, on the other hand, a prawn cocktail which is something that I am not a huge fan of anyway. However, this did make me jealous because I think for sure I could have had this. It looked like it had the right amount of sauce this is something which I find rare when you order a prawn cocktail as usually, you get either a large number of prawns and a lack of sauce or the other way around. This is for sure one which he would recommend as it is the second time he has had this meal when we have dined at this pub. I think if we returned it may be something which I order because of how nice it does look which say a lot because I really do like the pate.

Burgers are something which a lot of restaurants/pubs serve, however, it can be hard to find one which is of high quality with succulent meat. This is for sure something which you can find at the three cups as you see the size of the burgers are large enough that they should fill you up. For example my partner who can eat so much found this filling even if I did steal his onion ring which was amazing as it was made with proper onion which means that it was so fresh. I think I could just have consumed a bowl of them on there own and not even been sorry. I think that this is something which most people would enjoy no matter if they are a picky eater or not.

Me on the other hand fancied something different this is why I choose the salmon as it is a dish which I do not have often. This came with potatoes and vegetables and a lovely source which for the life of me I can not remember what it was at all. This is something which I would recommend because of you are someone like me who does not always want something so filling like a burger, of course this is a little bit more of a healthy option. I think this for sure is something which I which I would have again in the future should I be returning to this restaurant. We can not comment on the drinks because of the fact that the fact that we both had a pint of coke.

Conclusion

This for sure is a place which we would visit again due to the fact that we have had great service both times we have been. The food had been of amazing quality which made up really want to go back I think there is still so much which I still want to try on the menu.  This means that I am going to have to go back there I think this meal actually only cost us around the £40 mark and this was for drinks and a two course meal. I know that the vintage inn is a chain so I might have to visit some of the other branches.

Have you been to a Vintage Inn for food?
